Brewery Emperial

The team at Brewery Emperial is friendly and helpful! I would come back time and again just to hang out with them. The food is also wonderful - much better than your normal bar food. Also, as a woman, I really appreciate the attention to detail in their restrooms - always clean and fully stocked.

Brewery Emperial is a fantastic spot to grab a drink outside on a covered & colorful patio! The beer is tasty and so are the plates. The bratwurst with sauerkraut had everyone jealous they didn’t order it. 10/10 recommend! The potato salad served with the bratwurst was fabulous. You can even order your food and drinks on an app so you don’t have to wait on the server on a busy night! If you are looking for a plate to share with the table, order a side of fries with a few different dips or the pretzel appetizer.

Clearly the place where the locals go. Lots of bicyclists, lots of doggos. We didn't stay for food 1hr wait at 7 on a weeknight, but you're welcome to get a "to-go" pint and hang out on the patio. Good range of mainstream options from mild to heavy, including an impressive number of GABF medalists.

I really enjoyed my time at Brewery Emperial. Nestled in downtown KCMO but fenced off in a way that you don't feel surrounded by buildings yet you can hear the hustle and bustle going on outside. The beer was tasty and there was an adequate variety to choose from. They also have a serve yourself water tap which I really enjoyed. The food was fantastic. The Emperial burger had the perfect flavor and juiciness. The Brussel Sprouts were roasted really well and also had a surprising amount of flavor to then. The parmesian fries were parmesian fries, nothing wrong there. The waitress and staff were attentive and quick to fulfill requests. You should stop by and give the place a try.

Every time I come here, the service and drinks/food is amazing! If you can have Robert as your server and Lynn as your bartender, it’ll be the best service you’ve ever had in all of KC. I can also really appreciate their support for those with female reproductive systems by having pads and tampons in every bathroom. 10/10 between the service, vibe, and quality of drink/food.

Good beer. Good atmosphere. Our dog loved it. My only “complaint” is that they charged my credit card twice. For 2 drinks and an order of fries I was charged $24.79 and again for $20.49. Both processed. Definitely check it out, but also check your bank account a few days later. Human errors happen. UPDATE** It was actually a tech error. I called to dispute the duplicate transaction and they were already aware and sorting through them after having some issues with a new POS system over the weekend. Changing to 5 stars!

Would highly recommend Brewery Emperial. I stopped in for dinner waiting for an outdoor concert nearby to start and the heat was getting to me. I am also pregnant so it was a bit concerning when I started feeling dizzy, but the staff went above and beyond and were amazing and brought me ice and a fan and helped me cool off until I felt well enough to call an uber home. I could not speak more to how amazing and kind the staff are! I will recommend this place to anyone looking for dinner and a lovely place to relax down town and look forward to coming back to have dinner here in the future. Thank you so, so much for how helpful and caring everyone was.

The venue is awesome. They have a large outdoor seating area with a fire pit for colder nights. They also use wood fire/smoke for cooking. This a dog friendly place, so that is a huge plus for all us dog lovers. I tried a few beers, but was not the biggest fan of them. Their tri tip tacos were good, but lacked a lot of flavor. Their staff are very nice and accommodating. I would definitely go back to try the rest of their beers and more food.

Cool ordering concept that was surprisingly efficient once you get your account setup- which was a tedious pain point upon getting seated. But once you’re setup , you place an order from the app, your order shows up quickly. Enjoyed the ‘backyard’ seating, weather was very comfortable- perfect for cocktails after a long day!

Good food and beer, but I had to prove I wasn’t a robot by identifying stoplights just to use the ordering app. And the app charges a 1.00 fee. And it automatically factors in a tip?! Let me know when you ditch the frivolous technology and I’d love to come back.
