Brickstone Ballroom

What a wonderful experience from beginning to end! We opted to use Brickstone Ballroom and 1000 Stories events for our wedding this month and I couldn’t be happier with my experience. The venue is gorgeous! There is beautiful architecture and lightning from all the windows. The area is easily transformed for a variety of events with carpeted area but also a dance floor and stage. There was a perfect amount of room for our guests; it was excellent to transition from ceremony to dinner to dancing easily in the same space. I also was impressed by the ease in which our vendors were able to work with the event coordinator and venue to provide an excellent flow. We offered a bar area as well as buffet food and it never felt crowded! There was a kitchenette area, a bridal room, and even a space for my groom to get ready! Melodi was even able to hide me from my guests as they arrived so I was able to have a big reveal for my ceremony. I plan to come back in the future!

For an older venue , it is very well kept, great for weddings and other events of this nature

Classy venue in downtown Vancouver. I worked with the building manages on the few occasions and she certainly knows what she is doing. If you need help with any aspect of your special day she knows just the people.

Attended a wedding at this venue. Can be decorated to look really elegant. Dance floor is very spacious and has various rooms for people to have privacy if you need to get ready.

Gorgeous arch windows overlooking downtown Vancouver! This venue is very affordable and with plenty of free parking in the lot and surrounding streets during evening and weekend hours, that's additional savings! Tables and chairs are included in the fee, so the only rentals needed are linens and decor. Besides weddings and receptions, this space would be good for anniversaries, birthday celebrations, graduations, company meetings/parties and celebration of life events. I've enjoyed working with the onsite coordinators there.
