Staff is friendly, amicable, caring, the classroom is quaint. My 7 yr old Daughter loves ballet class and looking forward to flamenco. They have benches couch and chairs for adults to wait during class if so desired.
My daughter, who is serious about dance, joined the teen company at Bridge about 2 years ago. Bridge nicely caters to a wide range of dancers in terms of both ability and interest. The girls in the Company are supportive of one another, and also push each other to achieve to the best of their ability. The teachers are fabulous and meet the student where they are, and challenge them. My daughter's private teacher, Fiona Oba, is fabulous! My daughter has strengthened her technique and grown as a dancer under Fiona's tutelage.
Bridge has been offering dance to kids and adults in upper Manhattan forever! Great space with solid dance offerings and good teachers. Highly recommend.
We love Bridge for Dance. Both my daughters have taken a range of dance classes - modern, ballet, aerial dance! - and loved them all all. It's a very laid back institution, so nice and flexible. The teachers are great. My kids love it and we have been very happy there. So glad to have them in the neighborhood!
We were lucky enough to experience another Tap Dance class with Tommy Wasiuta, a young performer, choreographer and tap dance teacher. I can't say enough about his energy and sensitivity to those who have paved the way before him. So glad he's come to New York from St Louis!
