Bright Horizons at L Street

The physical space was excellent. This location has its own playground situated in a courtyard. This is a rare commodity. The arrangement with the garage next door was also wonderful and it was easy to manage pick up and drop off. The infant teachers were absolutely wonderful. They worked as a team and I felt good everyday leaving my infant in their care. Communications could use some improvement at this center. For example, I didn't feel I was given much notice when my child was set to be transferred to the next level and the infant teachers seemed to be unaware too. Very confusing. The next teacher experience was a mixed one. One teacher was very special, loved the kids and it showed in everything she did and the other teacher didn't seem to be happy in her job and it showed in everything she did. The excellent teacher left without any word from management. This was also true for the infant teacher team. As gifted as they all were, they all left in a short time period, one after the other, and without any word from management that these staff were moving on. Once those gifted teachers left, I knew it was time for us to go too.
