Got sick while in NYC. Inside the Brill Building is a CVS. They have a Minute Clinic that was not far from our apartment. They had all the meds that I needed.
I love when I come across architectural beauty like this! That's why I always walk looking up as I venture through out the city. The details on the facade simply stunning! Definitely one of a kind here in NYC!
Unbelievable history of this building, look it up on Wikipedia! We just thought we were in a CVS and then it clicked. Sad that there is no real recognition of the history but look it up, it will blow your mind!
My fathers brother Bertram April had his accounting firm here in the '60's and 70's....he would take me to Paddy's Clam House for lunch ! Wish I had a time machine....those were the days !! Trump is President ? Must be an alternate universe. ....
Was here for the half marathon, well done! Nice place, lots of room.
Back in the '60s, the Brill Building was the hub of the NYC Music Industry with numerous record labels and studios. Now basically a WeWork with the exception of Broadway Video and a couple of other floors. One of the nicest WeWorks in the city with the entire 11th floor as a common area. Rooftop deck should be opening soon. Biggest issue are the elevators are a slow.
Lovely bar excellent staff no fuss food lovely and fab made to suit ones needs
The entire building is undergoing a full renovation. I work at Broadway Video and every floor has been gutted and is in the process of being rebuilt. The original entrance is a landmark and cannot be touched, the new entrance on 49th is very nice and clean, minus the construction dust from the ongoing reno. Not sure when the other reviews last saw the building, but they need to revisit their comments.
Cool old building at the heart of musical recording history. I saw Daria Musk performing Google's first live Hangouts broadcast on air here.
Beautiful, a must see when you go to NYC
