I thought the same; that a beauty queen mentality would disrupt my teen from knowing the difference from 'real beauty" which is inside us; and the fake beauty of striving for the perfect body, etc. But, to be honest the two beauty queens that I have met are just regular ole people. They do not act any different than the next. And, in realty they are rather ordinary in many ways other then they are extremely polite; and smile. You know, those big beauty queen smiles. Hey, I'll take that role modeling any day for my teen. And, as far for the prices of the place is no different that the three other dance studios we have attended in different communities. In fact, the costumes and the other accessories required have been nominal in price compared to other studios. I recognize everyone has their opinion....but in this case the present 'beauty queen' shows the young girls what hard work entails... and she does it with poise and grace. I can only hope some of that rubs off on her performers. And, no, I do not know Christy or Heidi....but as stated I find them to be gracious and kind to their performers.

Hidden fees galore, instructors have their children in class who act like monsters. They charge dancers admittance fees to dance in their own recitals. The instructors talk about the children behind their back to other parents. Condescending, rude and lack of talent!!!
