I can't say enough amazing things about working with Preston. His down to earth personality makes him super likable, easy to work with and very flexible. We told him we wanted our wedding photos to appear fun and natural- nothing too staged and he definitely delivered what we wanted. He allowed us to customize our photography-wedding package and tailor it more to our needs, which other photographers were not willing to do. We ended up working with Preston at our engagement party and on our wedding day, which we are so grateful for! He made an extra effort to capture special moments for us at both our engagement party and on our wedding day that we would not have otherwise had. On my wedding day, Preston made the biggest difference. He came with his team, scoped out my venue and was familiar with the most gorgeous surrounding areas for amazing pictures both inside and outdoors. I didn't have to scope anything out in advance. I 100% trusted Preston to make all photography destination decisions for the bride and groom pictures, bridal party pictures and family photos and I am so glad I did. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a photographer with a great personality and a wonderfully artistic eye. He has the most incredible visions for photography. His photos are unique and simply gorgeous. Preston prioritizes the bride and the groom. He made us feel comfortable and advised us to just have fun with our day. Thinking back, I never had to fake a smile. We took Preston's advice and had fun! More importantly, it felt like we were taking pictures with our friend, not someone we hired, which really helped. Preston used his creativity to set us up for the most amazing pictures with incredible scenery. We laughed throughout all of our photos. Preston made sure my husband and I were taken care of- he came prepared with water and small snacks, which really came in handy!! The Brovado team was so organized, worked seamlessly with everyone involved and helped make our day totally stress free! I am so lucky to be able to say I wouldn't have changed anything about my wedding day, and I know I have Preston and his team to thank for so much of that!
First of all, I am a filmmaker and former photographer. Both of these professions are very important to me. So I'm sure you can imagine that picking a photographer for my wedding was incredibly difficult. When I first came across Bravado Weddings I LOVED his images but I knew I it was going to cost more than I wanted it to. After giving it more consideration we decided to meet with Preston. Our first meeting with Preston was incredible. He is extremely personable, he had snacks for us, and we both felt like he cared about our desires as a couple. Not to mention, seeing his work in the beautiful wedding album books he had was amazing! Immediately after the meeting we booked Preston. Throughout the entire process Preston added sooooo much value to us. I personally hate being in front of the camera That's why I chose a profession being behind it! and Preston made the entire process fun even for someone who doesn't like to be photographed. Our engagement session was so much fun and Preston was always quick to respond to emails. The day of our wedding was an absolute blast. Preston made both me and my wife feel extremely comfortable in front of the camera and was always conscious about how we were feeling. Asking if we needed breaks, water, snacks, etc. The entire day Preston helped us have an amazing time. I cannot stress to you how important it is that you have a photographer with a great personality. It makes the day SO much more fun and smooth. One of the biggest regrets I always hear about after weddings is that the couple wished they had hired a better photographer. Photos are one of the few things you will have that will last decades after your wedding. If there is anything you should focus your budget on first, it should be the photographer. Preston will give you absolutely incredible images in any situation as well as make you feel extremely valued through the whole process. He treats you like a close friend that wants the best for you. A wedding vendor should help make your day run smoothly with less stress and that's exactly what Preston is able to do. I truly cannot recommend Preston enough. I assure you, even if it goes a bit past your budget, he will be worth every single dollar. Our initial budget was around $2,500-3,000 and we settled on Prestons $5,500 package. I have zero regrets and couldn't be happier with how everything went.
We met Preston and his team at the wedding of my fiancee's now wife's best friend. We were enormously impressed by his work and discovered in a stroke of good fortune that he was free on the weekend of our wedding as well. We had an extremely positive experience with Brovado and wanted to be sure our review included all the points we hope might be helpful to prospective future couples. Preston was very accommodating during the lead-up to the wedding, and actually flew into Madison flying his own plane for our engagement photos. Neither my wife nor I are particularly natural in front of the camera, but Preston gave great direction throughout the shoot and quickly had us relaxed and having fun. He found a lot of beautiful shots, and we got a lot of guidance in what to do, but he was very mindful of the types of pictures we wanted and wanted to avoid. On the technical side all the scheduling, billing, and other details were handled smoothly and efficiently. The personal website and the online presentation were excellent, and the entire team was immediately responsive to questions. The general sense of professionalism helped take the stress off the wedding prep. Preston took absolutely stunning pictures of the wedding, and he did a wonderful job keeping everyone upbeat and focused throughout the sometimes chaotic wedding party and family shoots beforehand. On a personal note, Preston and his team were just plain fun to work with. He combined conscientious professionalism with a sort of easy-going friendliness that made the day a bit more fun and seemed to show up in the pictures of the guests caught on camera. Brovado made our entire wedding photography experience incredible, and did a fantastic job capturing the memories of the day. It's a pleasure to recommend them.
Preston and his crew are incredible. Everything about Brovado Weddings is world-class! We hired Preston as our photographer and from our first meeting we knew we were in good hands. Services we bought: Engagement photos, wedding invites, wedding photography and videography, photo booth, wedding video and wedding album. Preston and Liz helped us design our invites and thank you cards. They turned out amazing. We got so many compliment on them. Our wedding album came with a small defect and Preston went to bat for us and got us a brand new one for free. He accepts nothing but the highest quality for his customers. The day of our wedding his entire team was early, set up and ready to go. They were so fun to work with and by the end of the day they felt like part of our family. Preston has this sixth sense about him where he have this ability to be in the right spots at the right time to not only get the perfect photo but to capture the emotion of what is happening. He has a passion for quality and exceeding expectations. Looking back on our big day my wife and I both agreed that it was by far the best money we spent on our wedding. The number one question or comment we got after was "Wow, who did you hire as the photographer?" "They were unbelievable!" Because of Preston and Liz and the whole Brovado crew, my wife and I are able to re-live our wedding for years to come.
There is one word that describes working with Preston and Liz with Brovado Weddings - AMAZING! We have had two engagement sessions with Preston. We just had so much fun at the first while we were in Hawaii that we just had to go again back home in Minnesota! The best part about working with Preston is that it is like working with a really good friend. To work with someone so genuine, kind and talented is truly an honor. I have to be honest. I was nervous before our photo sessions because these photos can sometimes feel cheesy and not real. This was not the case with our photos. I feel that our photos are really representative of who we are as a couple. From rocky cliffs overlooking the ocean, to railroad tracks and lake docks, our photos are truly unique, not to mention adventurous! So Fun! Preston put us completely at ease and it was great because we kept forgetting there was a camera there! We are so excited and feel so honored that Preston will be there with us on our wedding day capturing all the beautiful moments of what will be one of the most important days of our lives. Cheers to more of life's little and BIG adventures!
Preston and Brovado Photography was the best decision we made other than marrying each other for our wedding! Preston is probably one of the coolest guys ever! AND so is his wife Liz! They are just really good, honest people! AND Preston is CRAZY talented! We were not the typical couple that loved taking pictures and had a list of poses for the big day...Preston knew that and took complete control! There is not a single picture I wouldn't frame! Also after the day is over they still care a lot about you! Making our wedding album with the VERY talented Rachel was such a FUN process! I would 100% recommend jumping up a couple packages to include the wedding album because it is AMAZING! Nothing like it! You will NOT regret it! AND I also just fell in love with Preston and Liz so the fact that we are clients for life is awesome because we at least get to hang out with this super cool couple once a year:-! Book Brovado. Preston and his team were amazing. Our engagement and wedding photos are stunning. His team also handled some difficult parent situations with ease and worked well with the children in our wedding party. I would hire him again in a heartbeat and truly felt taken care of as a friend and someone he cared about. No cookie cutter photography here! Hire Brovado - you will not be disappointed and your photos will be amazing!
I don't think 5 Stars is enough! If I could change the rating system, I would have Brovado at 100 stars!!!! We LUCKED out when we found Preston by searching for photographers on google. I spent hours on wedding websites and was not really impressed by the sample photos I saw for the listed photographers. Lucky for me, google pulled up Brovado Photography and I started to read the reviews. All of the reviews raved about Preston and now after working with him, I know that everything is true! First off, I have never heard of a photographer invite someone over to their home, and prepare an amazing cultural meal for potential clients. I expressed to Preston that we were planning a fusion "Indian/ Caucasian" wedding and wanted someone who knew what the important traditions of the Indian culture were, so that we didn't miss out on any of the pictures. He invited us over to look at indian wedding photos he took when he went to india. The photos were amazing and exactly what we were looking for! Along with that, he had indian tea and snacks prepared for us... This just shows how thoughtful and awesome Preston is! Engagement shoot photos are still being talked about by our families. Preston met us 3 times, once had to be rescheduled for weather, and the last time was to try out something new that he thought of..lets just say that Preston thinks out of the box for fun, unique ideas! After seeing a few of the wedding photos that Preston capture, our family & friends can't get over how amazing they are! The attention paid to the details is priceless. Preston is one of the most talented photographers I've ever met. He knows how to capture the important moments without making you take a million pictures. His laid back attitude and funny personality really just makes the wedding day fly by smoothly. Our wedding day was chaotic, but Preston & his whole team really made our day! I called them "our wedding day coordinator & photographers in one" They were with us for the entire day, helped us get ready, got everyone together and made sure we were happy.They even got us food and drinks while we were running around taking pictures. Literally, I've never met such an amazing team. I could go on for pages on how awesome the whole Brovado team is. Everyone from Preston to the editor to the videographer is phenomenal. I couldn't have asked for a better team to work with. They are so great that we hired Preston for a family event after our engagement shoot, as well as private family photos for this fall. I look forward to working with Preston again! I can't stop recommending him to family and friends. If you are looking for a photographer who is fun, organized and talented, I would highly recommend contacting Preston to help capture the most important days of your life!
Preston is simply amazing. Not only is he a spectacular photographer, but he is so personable, detailed, and thoughtful. He makes sure you have all the photos you want of your special day and has great vision for making stunning photos. The one aspect I recommend investing in for your wedding is your photographer because you can carry the photos with you throughout the years--plus photos help to keep the day alive in your memory. From the moment we first met with Preston--it was clear that not only was he a savvy business-owner with a fabulous team behind him, but that he was able to make personal connections with ease that we knew would benefit us on what would surely be one of the more hectic days of our lives. The day of our wedding we received SO many complements on Preston and his team--they navigated our day and our guests with smiles and professionalism that are unparalleled. Most importantly---his work is breathtaking. We absolutely love our photos, and cherish the album that his team created. We can't wait to work with Preston in the future, and are so happy we purchased a package with him that allows us to do so!
