In June, 1993, a meeting was held at the Maplewood City Hall as the first step toward forming a historical society that was incorporated in 1997. A significant event occurred in 1999 when the Bruentrup family donated their farm buildings to the Society. Today, the Society holds many events, exhibits, programs and private rentals at the Farm throughout the year.
To preserve and interpret the history of Maplewood and its people and ensure this legacy is passed on to future generations.
