Brunics

First... I write this review with the utmost bias, thank you very much Breakfast is my absolute favorite meal of the day and Brunics is my favorite place to get it. I just never get the chance to write a review because I always eat the food and fall asleep and then... Forget Lol. But this place is amazing and more people need to know it. They've got some slamming breakfastthough they do offer non breakfast alternatives but... Breakfast is my jam lol i always order from GrubHub and my food is always quick and hot even when it says its busy. I've tried quite a few different things from them since I order a lot but for this sake of this review I'll stick to mainly what's pictured here.I plated this myself after ordering online Pictured below is the Sourdough French Toast: 7/10 Does leave a bit of a taste simple because it is sourdough but I personally think it adds to the flavor but if you aren't a french toast fan, I would stay away but if you're willing to try something new this is delicious they arent as wonderfully thick as normal french toast would be, which is the reason for the score but very much still worth every bite. Eggs: 8/10 I mean its eggs. You cant really mess up eggs Lol. But they always make sure to make them nice and fluffy and delicious Scrapple: 10/10 I grew up on scrapple, I've had all kinds of scrapple, I've cooked scrapple and I've even had scrapple from places that have been called the best by magazines but this was hands doen my favorite. It was huge, cut perfectly and tasted delicious. It's definitely worth trying Links: 8/10 I mean... Its sausage links... Nothing more needs to be said Half Eaten Grits with cheese: 8/10 not many people can make a good bowl of grits... Brunics you've definitely got it down. Good job. Great food and great service! The owner and staff here are very friendly and will take care of you. On top of that, the food is delicious!

if you’re looking for some quality home cooked food with affordable pricing, served up by genuine people? look no further. you can get breakfast and lunch for under 20 bucks. truly some of the sweetest folks on the block, miss stopping in to eat but the take out experience is just as great! always a neighborhood staple!

Grubhubed order food was under seasoned and definitely needed salt the giant peppers in my home fries overpowered the potatoes, the grits, steak and eggs were soso not good and not bad either, best part of the mean was the turkey bacon! That's a statement in itself.

My first time ordering from this place and the food is the best and hey thank you Brunics for securing the bags by stapling!! I hate when I order food and it comes with the bag half open & easily accessible for anyone to Tamper inside the breakfast was very delicious

I wasn’t very impressed personally. Instructions were followed and the bun of the burger was good, the burger itself was meh… maybe I just got the wrong item, other things look more appetizing in some of the other reviews. I may try again

Brunics South Philly a nice little Breakfast and Lunch Oasis on 17th Street. I'm glad the locals know about it because I would have walked right by it. The building was kind of dark. They have a counter and tables but were doing a lot of delivery. Good standard cheesesteak, nice little place. According to the menu you can get a Cheesesteak at 6 a.m. and breakfast all day.

Brunic’s is a classic South Philly neighborhood joint that serves up exactly what you’d expect as far as food goes hoagies, breakfast sandwiches, etc., but the care and precision set them apart. When ordering my scrapple, egg, and cheese on a long roll, I got the usual “American? Scrambled?” questions but the waitress taking the order a delightfully brusque South Philly woman also asked if I wanted my scrapple crispy, soft, or in between. Same thing with my side of breakfast potatoes, a pillowy mound of waxy potatoes still sizzling when I opened the styrofoam clamshell back in my car. You won’t find new and exciting dishes here. But, you’ll find the classics done how they should be done.

They don't have scrapple in Texas! Had it first time today, reminds me of Boudin! Great food, cool people!
