I just wanted to say i am impressed with the Bonsai's we received but I am also super impressed by the customer service. I ordered some Bonsai's for a birthday party i was having for my wife in January. The Bonsai's arrived but were pretty much dead after getting delayed by the shipper plus the extremely cold weather we were having. i contacted Brussels Bonsai and spoke to Lisa who recommended that we wait for warmer weather. I shot Lisa an email and she immediately sent out the new order. We received the new Bonsai's and they are outstanding. A big thank you to Brussels Bonsai and Lisa for making good on their promise.

I have been a bonsai enthusiest for a few years now and have ordered several trees online. They always arrive as described, although I am only 2.5 hr west near Little Rock. I have bought a few trees from the nursery itself, and always very happy. I have lost a few trees over the years, but that was my fault from not taking proper care due to weather or watering.
The best time to buy trees is during the sales, usually 20 percent off. That makes a big difference when you are spending a couple hundred dollars. The facility is amazing, probably one of the best in the country and well worth the trip. Overall, this Nursery is top notch and i recommend that you check it out. If you don't know anything about bonsai, this is the best place to start.

Before ordering a bonsai tree, I searched online for care instructions so I could make a better informed choice. Brussel's had so much helpful information on their website. The Chinese Elm matched my aesthetic expectations and experience level. My tree arrived a little more than a week ago. It had been shipped during a significant winter storm, but was delayed only 1 day and was in excellent condition. The health of the plant, prior training/overall shape, customer service, and shipping have all exceeded my expectations. This living art form will surely provide me with years of pleasure, and I will likely buy more from them (pruning shears, fertilizer, books, and YES, . . .more bonsai trees!)

They are never open for any hours for people who actually have a job. Only open til 5 pm m-f and closed on the weekends is absurd. I've tried to go to visit this place for over a year but they obviously don't want locals visiting them. Told me 2 weeks ago that they would be open this Saturday so I literally put it on my calendar. Called right before I was walking out the door to drive over and they scoffed at me saying, "I don't know would have told you that." well ma'am it was someone who works there that told me this. Told me to try and come back 5 MONTHS FROM TODAY!!
I will be giving my business to someone else.

I ordered two trees from Brussel's, and the trees looked great. However, they were poorly packaged. They had lots of packing peanuts on top of the trees, and a few pieces of cardboard below the pots. The pots were both broken when I opened the box due to the combination of poor packaging and transit handling. I immediately called the 800 number on the invoice to see if I could receive replacement pots. I left a message with name and phone number explaining the pots had been broken and requested a call back. After a week, I received no return call and ordered replacement pots from a competitor. The competitor's pots were packaged appropriately and arrived without issue.
Summary: The trees look nice, but are not packaged to withstand issues in transit. The customer service line does not return calls.
Bottom line: Brussel's Bonsai Nursery, LLC will not have a repeat customer.
