TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE customer service that almost made me miss an international flight. Called with an hour to spare to get a taxi to the airport. They told me it would be 30 minutes wait. I took them on their word, and said okay as I had time. 35 minutes later, no taxi. Called them back, they said they would call the driver and then call me back. 5 minutes later, no call back. Called them back again and they said the driver cannot get to the area! They should be honest if they know there is a possibility they cannot do a run, especially when they know a customer is going to the airport!
I am a Guest Service representative for a hotel in the area they serve and I have seldomly used this taxi service. Reason why is because the first time calling to schedule a ride for one of my guest on a weekend..around 7:30pm, and they guy told me they just closed. He was pretty short and hung up. I checked the number, called back and never gotten a response. Its been 2 months since I last tried using them. I just called for a group of 9 and they came within 5 minutes of calling.I will consider tonight and use them more in the near future.
I used this company through GRTA's guaranteed ride home service, which will arrange a cab for you if you miss your commuter bus because of unexpected work obligations. Based on my conversations with GRTA, I expected the cab to arrive sometime around 7:10. So around 7:15, I was worried that I'd missed them by being in the wrong place or something, so I called the company to check. The dispatcher said that my driver was 7 minutes out. So at 7:31 I called again because it had been more than 7 minutes. This time the dispatcher told me that my driver would be calling within 30 seconds. About 300 seconds later, I called GRTA back to see if I needed to cancel the cab and find another ride. She put me on hold while she called the cab company, and when she came back, she told me that the dispatcher told her the driver was 5 minutes out. Then finally, while I was still on the phone trying to decide how to proceed, a cab rides by. Once he turns around and picks me up at 7:47, I tell him about my ordeal, and he tells me that he just got the call at 7:31. I wouldn't be nearly so angry had the dispatcher not lied so much.
I am not one to write a bad review because I work in the service industry myself, however; I had a bad experience with driver 1018 today. As I got out to pay for my ride, which was listed at $20 the driver insisted that I pay an additional four dollars for my two children. When I inform the driver that I use the taxi service often and that I was never charged for my two children he explained and showed me on the window that they charge per person an additional fee. The fee was an additional four dollars. I explain to the driver again that this had never happened to me before and I had use their service before and had never been charged an additional fee of four dollars for my two children. He again insisted that there is an additional charge per person in the car. As I got out the car, I reached out to the company directly and explained my situation and the gentleman who was very nice and pleasant explained to me that they don't charge an additional fee for children under eight years old. My children are seven years old and four years old. That means the driver took advantage of me and my children. I am very appalled and disappointed that this happened to me because the driver was very unprofessional and I really hope that you guys can address this issue with cabdriver 1018. In the interim I will go back to using Uber as I know what I'm being charged up front.
My wife, some friends and I took a cab home from Virginia-Highlands, and could not have been more pleased. We'd had a shockingly bad experience with another cab company earlier in the evening, but this was exactly as it should have been. Friendly, courteous, clean, safe, and professional. I'll gladly use them again, and recommend them to others as well.
I dropped someone off to run an errand and after I turned off my car realized they had the key so we were both stranded. Called Buckhead safety cab. They arrived within five mins of call and the driver could not have been nicer. Highly recommend their service!
What an anomaly! A great, friendly company right smack in the middle of Checker Cab's territory. These days, I must take a taxi with a handicapped family member often...and it's horrors. One day recently, I waited almost an hour and got the run around from Checker and I've ridden under that logo for decades...someone told me I should call Buckhead Safety, and I did so, reluctantly. Wow! They said they could do it, they did it and they did it reasonably and in short shrift. Never happens any more. Today, I called to make an appointment for tomorrow...they said to just give them a few minutes and they'll be there. I love it. Love it. LOVE. IT.
Omg literally the worst cab service ever. Always lie about how long they will be. I waited over an hour when I called she told me he shut his device off so I had to call another cab service. When I call for a ride they always say 10-15 mins its always over a hr. Hate hate hate these people
I called for a cab and they didn't even show up. I almost missed my flight at the airport. I was able to find a friend to drive me and I arrived at the gate just as they were boarding! They are horrible.
I've been using them for decades with no complaints. Today I called to try to arrange a cab to the airport and the phones appear to be disconnected. I guess they're out of business.
