Bud’s House of Meat has really good food. The chicken and smoked rice are excellent. I didn’t really care for the red beans and rice. The red beans and rice wasn’t bad, just not to my liking. They also have a butcher shop. The employees were friendly and helpful. I would recommend trying Bud’s House of Meat.

Kinda of on the expensive side,  but worth every penny. They had almost every thing you can think of. And their meats are SUPER fresh. Their BBQ plates are off the chain. I got the ribs which were falling off the bone and super smokey the best ones, and I got slaw and cheesy potatoes. I'm very impressed about how delicious everything was. It was pretty crowded,  but I was told it got more crowded than that.... I highly recommend this place. 

Today was my first day going to Bud's and I can honestly  say this place is very clean and very organized. The butcher that helped me was also very helpful. The only complaint that I have is the young lady at the register, she wasn't  friendly nor did she speak when I was speaking  to her. Other than that I will return cause the meat is very fresh

This place has the potential to be one of the best places to eat and catering what ever occasion you may have but they must invest in better cook's the food is lacking but tolerable it could be a lot better. As a suggestion I would hold a cooking contest for the best home cooking and give that person or persons a opportunity to help expand your business opportunities. I'm a devoted patron and will continue to support your business but their are always room for improvements. This is not a slight on your business acronym only a suggestion from a loyal customer who wants only what is best for you and the community. I hope you don't take it the wrong way merely a suggestion take or leave it.

#worstcustomerservice Our first time ever coming here to eat and will be our last! I wanted chopped beef as one of my choices and was told I could only have sliced beef. I had to purchase a cup of chopped beef for $6.50. As one of Houston’s First Responders, I will never suggest this place to anyone! Their manager told me to take my business somewhere else! So I will!

Always a wonderful experience. The whole entire staff are friendly and professional. Accommodating your needs seam to be top priority.

The potato was decent. You can’t beat the price and the amount of food that you get. There was no line when I went and I was able to get my food in about 10 minutes. I also got the 7- up mini- bunt cake not pictured and it was good. Overall my experience was great.

Excellent experience shopping the meat market. As a novice meat market shopper, I found the attendants/butchers to be very helpful ,  the prices reasonable, and the customer service which included carry out assistamce to my vehicle excellent.

I was in Houston on vacation and I wanted boudin sausage to take back home. I found Bud's online and I was not disappointed  it had boudin sausage and all kinds of products I love that I haven't seen since I was a kid. I will be back when I'm in town.

I’ve been a customer for over 12 years and I got some turkey wings that expired within 3 days of purchase  in the fridge and when I took them back I was treated as if I was trying to get something for free. Totally unacceptable. If I could give zero stars that’s what it would be.
