Actually terrible. If you’re looking to find some authentic “vintage” piece or have a good thrifting experience… DO NOT GO HERE. It’s is truly the worst of the worst. Selling trashy liquidation/forever 21 quality pieces for INSANE prices. You will not find a solid thrift piece here below $30. Better off buying new. Lots of liquidation things, shouldn’t even be called a thrift or vintage store, it’s atrocious.
I find the styles to be underwhelming. The prices are also high for a thrift store. If you want to sell your items, it will be great to become familiar with what the trends are for that area before organizing the clothes you have to sell.
Definitely a gem. The price range and size range is on point. So all can shop there, no complaints
Don’t even bother. They’re so overpriced. Go shop at Crossroads instead! And definitely don’t waste your time trying to sell to them. I hung up every item individually, steamed it out, made sure it was in style and in season, similar to other items they have, all name brand. They NEVER take anything. And if they do offer you money for something, they lowball you like crazy. The worst part - they will rip apart everything piece by piece like it’s worthless, and hand it back to you in a messy disheveled pile, with no regard to the time and effort you put into trying to make it presentable to them. They have the worst attitude. I will never be shopping here again - I’m fed up.
Let me tell you… I was ready and willing to pay $55 for a pair of wrangler jeans bc i obviously don’t know anything. ALEX had my back, did his due diligence, checked with his managers, and told me they were priced incorrectly. They were actually $18…. S/O Alex give that man a raise
If you're donating for cash don't bother unless you have the most up to date trends. I had already filtered my less great items out to donate to Salvation Army and kept the best of the things I was ready to part with to bring to Buffalo. Came in with bags of urban, free people, Dissh, &other stories, ect and they took 4 pieces out of three bags. Suede light pink jacket, originally $200, never worn, still has tags they passed on. Unless your clothes have checker board/wavy prints, are in pastels, or look like what everyone wears now they aren't going to take your stuff.
First time selling/buying at Buffalo Exchange, the team was really friendly and even helped me pick out a few new pieces. Ryon gave me good styling advice and great customer service!
This is my fav buffalo exchange in the city. Everyone who works here has great style. Nicky specifically is always slaying the fits, the personality, and the customer service. See if he’s here next time you’re in!
using an anonymous account due to how poorly i was treated on sunday 10/30. the taller thin fair skin redhead looks dyed girl and shorter girl with fair skin didn’t even greet me to come to the counter. i stood there waiting for 5 minutes before walking over myself. however everyone in front of me were greeted with a smile and kind conversation. after looking like a fool trying to say hi and be polite i became silent and gave up. the girls kept rolling their eyes, the redhead dropped my clothing on the floor, and she lost track of how many items i had. i was given no reason why she was skipping over most things. i’ve sold the same brands at this very location in the past with no problem. the staff in the past were polite but this seemed to be a different group. in the end i took all of my items back because the snarky comments, eye-rolling, and rudely dropping clean clothes i’d just washed wasn’t worth it. work on a staff that greets everyone with kindness regardless of skin color or appearance.
Walked in to donate some basic, less worn business chinos only to be turned away with a lecture that pleated chinos are en vogue by a store associate. My 30 something male office worker ego is rather feeling defensive, but hey, just letting y'all 30 something biz casual dressers know you won't find non pleated basic chinos here.
