Bukhara Grill

We used Bukhara Grill for our wedding weekend in May 2022. We had a fusion wedding and Raja was wonderful to work with as we blended Indian and Italian cuisines for our guests! Bukhara Grill offered us endless options and were willing to tailor things to our needs. Raja was easy to work with and promptly answered our questions. Perhaps more importantly, our guests absolutely loved the food and are still talking about it!! If you are looking for a solid Indian caterer, especially for a fusion wedding, Bukhara Grill is your place!

Our wedding was in June of 2022. Part of my now-wife's family is Indian, while most of my family is American and unfamiliar with Indian foods and customs. Because of this, there was a need to provide Indian dishes and a variety of other menu items from different cuisines to suit a wide range of palates. We thought Bukhara Grill did an excellent job recommending a menu to suit our needs, and the feedback from our guests was universal; the food was excellent. We would highly recommend Bukhara Grill for weddings or other catering needs based on our experience.

My wife and I chose Bukhara Grill as the caterer for our wedding, and it was one of the best decisions we made! Working with Bukhara was a great experience! Akshay helped us with developing our menu. It was nice to get his professional opinions on which items to serve during lunch, cocktail hour and dinner. The food tasting is where we were able to try all the dishes. Each dish had it’s on uniqueness to it, all the food was incredible. We also met the owner, Raja Janjee, at the tasting. He was extremely kind and made sure we were taken care of right away. During the weekend of the wedding, the Bukhara team was ready to go for all the events. They did such an amazing job with all the food. Till this day, our guests tell us that the food was the best they ever had. I recommend Bukhara Grill for all your catering needs!

Outstanding in every manner! We have had the pleasure of using Bukhara Grill for our daughter’s wedding functions and reception. The consistency and quality at each function was excellent. All of our guests remarked as to how incredibly wonderful the food is. We first came across Bukhara Grill, five years ago at a friends wedding reception. At that time we found the food to be exceptionally good and made note of the purveyor. Five years later, we used the same company after doing our diligence in taste testing, and found that nothing had changed in terms of quality and management of food. All of these wonderful and sumptuous meals is a testament to the owners Raja Janaji dedication towards ensuring a wonderful experience for the guests who shall be eating his food. He cares about his reputation, and it shows in every regard. Raja is very easy to deal with and has wonderful suggestions on menus to put together for your function. An added bonus was the way the service stations and individual items were adapted to the venue. Artfully done and with courteous staff. We have also used Bukhara Grill for parties as well since then and the same comments apply. We will definitely go back for more

We stopped by yesterday,the restaurant is closed or looks like under construction. Window,doors covered with permits. I tried to call the number not working. Front of the building an Indian gentleman smoked a cigarette he said that was a great place. Hope they gonna reopen,I heard a lot of good things about it. Needs to be updated online..

Best Indian restaurant that offers all-you-can-eat in the neighborhood. Although price is a bit higher, but quality and service matters. All meals were in right spices. They definitely give you more bread naan then other Indian restaurants and it's hot and fresh. People are very friendly and helpful.

Vicky Vij made our wedding as delicious as it was beautiful. There’s a reason Bukhara has been the best in the game for so long, and their quality had only improved. Definitely suggest going with Bukhara for your next event.

Best caterer for Indian food in NYC! Raja Jhanjee has been an amazing partner for us over the years at all of our events.

The restaurant has an original nice Indian atmosphere. The food is good. We had a garlic Nan, lamb and chicken starter dish, and Paneer starter. For Entrees ww had butter chicken, Paneer dish, and dal makhni. It is advised to reserve a place.

Food was very delicious and the feeling of the restaurant is very relaxing and it is like fine dining indian food, I had the curry lamb and garlic naan. Waiters were very nice, always communicating with you to see if you’re doing well and they had very warm smiles. I rate this 4 stars because I have only been here once, I will revisit soon
