Burger Boy Diner

One thing my fans have learned about the Fat Man is that he loves a good burger. They are one of my favorite things in this world. So, we stopped at Burger Boy while out and about in Louisville, KY. Burger Boy is a low-key joint open 24/7 for burgers, deli sandwiches & classic American breakfast fare. I tried the Old Louisville Burger, made with a ¼ burger, bacon, over easy egg, and provolone. The burger was cooked perfectly, with crispy edges and a juicy interior. It could have used a touch more seasoning, but it was tasty. While out of the bag, the bun was fresh, and the bun-to-burger ratio was good. The veggies were fresh and crispy, the egg yolk was perfectly runny, and the bacon was crispy and chewy. The cheese was melted over the burger and offered a salty and very subtle sweetness to the bite, cutting through the creamy egg yolk and saltiness of the bacon. I also ordered the Chili Cheese Fries. This dish comes with cheddar cheese and house-made chili and is served over seasoned fries. The fries were cooked well, and the seasoning added to the flavor of the chili. It was full of meat, tomatoes, and beans. Their chili was thick with excellent taste, a touch of sweetness, and a good peppery heat finish. The cheddar cheese was spot-on gooey and added a great saltiness to each bite. The fries were adequately coated in both cheese and chili. My wife went with the ¼ burger fully dressed in cheese and seasoned fries. Again, the seasoned fries were cooked to a crunchy outside with a soft inside, and the seasoning tasted like a BBQ-type seasoning, sweet with a bit of heat on the end. The burger is cooked perfectly with crispy edges while still being juicy. The veggies are fresh and crunchy, and the mayo helps cut through everything while giving some needed creaminess to each bite. Burger Boy has an extensive menu that includes breakfast and late-night eats. The servers were lovely, and the food came up fast. The Fat Man says that Burger Boy is Fat Man Approved with 2 chins.

I visited when I saw it was recommended by our local WHAS News. The burger was BIG, freshly made to order, and just when you thought fries were fries, they put a twist on it, special seasoning ! and they are excellent! Highly recommend Don't forget to tip those hard-working cooks ! Update: 4/6/24 visited to try another item on the menu . Philly cheese steak / fries, it was also Delicious !!

1st time experiencing The Burger Boy! Not bad! I'd come here again! I had the Old Louisville burger, which had bacon and egg with provolone cheese, but I'm sure you could have changed the cheese! I had them to dress it! Also, I comboed it with fries and drink! Very tasty burger and fries! Parking: It's located on a corner in a residential area, so get in where you fit in!

Food use to be amazing but now it's extremely overpriced and portion sizes have gone waaaay down. The quarter pounder is $9. $6 for a combo and I got 15 fries??? Burger has no salt or seasoning just bland.Food: 1/5

Dropped in quickly on a roadtrip and ordered to-go. Was skeptical because the view from street wasn’t very eye-catching. But they gave me the BEST FRIES OF MY LIFEEEEE. I want them at my wedding, my funeral, my last meal, every birthday.. And the best fountain coke I’ve had in MONTHS. I’ll be dropping in everytime I swing through Louisville.

Classic. Worthy of a trip ! Get here. Get a burger. Support the legacy. The fries. Get them seasoned. Must be at least 10 different flavors on them. Burgers.... Yummy. Service is quick and steady. They get crowed. Greatness matters. The flat iron grill has a ton of flavor on it. If your in Louisville, this is a foodies choice.

This was my first time at burger boy and it was great! There was a small wait for the food and that’s only because they make your meal fresh right in front of you. I enjoyed the atmosphere of this restaurant as well, it was unique to most burger places I have visited. Everyone was very friendly and the burger was awesome. Food: 5/5

Went on weekday at 11 pm, open 24 hours. Staff is welcoming and friendly, food made fresh and delicious, we had burger, chicken sandwich and chicken tenders combo, fries super tasty. place is clean and nicely decorated, restroom also clean. There is a juke box to play some music if you wantFood: 5/5
