The burgers here are great. We were the only ones in the place around 11:30 pm on Friday night. The service and food was great. They had a variety of burgers on the menu and fairly priced. The Duo choice of 2 burger options was $6.99 as of 1/3/2020. The wings were great for a place that doesn't specialize in wings.
First time to try Burgerim. Got the Family Pack to share, with Angus Beef and Crispy Chicken burgers. The pack had a good variety of flavors. The beef burger and chicken wings were pretty good; the chicken burger was not my favorite. The cashier who helped me was kind and helpful. Good place to stop for burgers!
Burgerim is an Israeli fast-food burger chain that got its start in Tel Aviv in 2011. Their focus is on sliders, or as they call it, "sensibly-sized' burgers at a mere 2.8 oz. each, available in 11 different patties. They are currently located in 7 different countries and have franchises all over the United States 37 states. With this many locations, I'm surprised I have never heard of them. When I walked in, the restaurant was completely empty. Speaking with one of Burgerim's employees, she mentioned that they had just opened up on Tuesday, November 13th, 2018. They had paper menus available, and honestly, it was very overwhelming choosing between 11 different patties and options. I went by the employee's recommendations without realizing how much food I was getting and for what price, but I rolled with her suggestions. I went with the Duo Burger Option which starts at $6.99, and I added fries and a drink for an extra $3.00 The Duo comes with 2 sensibly-sized burgers. I chose the Merguez Beef patty which is one of their premium beef patties seasoned with cumin, chili pepper, garlic, paprika, and roasted red pepper. I also ordered the Wagyu Beef patty for an additional $0.79 which is their ultra premium beef regarded as the finest quality beef available in the United States. For the Merguez burger, I chose the Classic Signature Style which included American cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickles, onions, and house sauce. For the Wagyu burger, I tried the Caliente Signature Style for an additional $0.79 which included pepper jack cheese, jalapenos, lettuce, cajun spice, and habanero mayo. Their employee told me many customers also included a fried egg on the burger for an additional charge which wasn't listed on the menu, so I agreed and added it. For the fries, they have Burgerim fries and sweet potato fries which are both at different price points. I chose to do a half and half to try the best of both. The Burgerim fries are shaped like potato chips, not like classic fries. For a grand total of $14.23, this was one of most expensive fast-food combinations I have ever ordered! Don't get sucked into all of their extras they'll try to sell you on. Keep it simple. When the food came out, the burgers were stuffed in a paper box. The lettuce used was very cheap-quality. The patties and bread were soaked with ingredients and sauce. I realized I may have made a mistake falling into their "premium upgrades" trap by adding too much to the burgers. I started with the Merguez. It had a good taste, but honestly, it wasn't worth the price. The Wagyu, which was supposed to be ultra premium beef, tasted very much like regular meat worse than the Merguez. They may have used the wrong patty because it didn't taste premium at all, and I've had Wagyu Beef plenty of times before. Although I had asked if the fried egg was fully-fried or runny, they mentioned it wouldn't be runny at all. They were wrong. As I bit into it, the egg exploded, and my already ingredients-drenched burger became even wetter. It was such a dripping mess, I couldn't eat it all. It basically fell apart in my hands, and I was left with a soupy catastrophe. For the fries, they were good. I preferred the sweet potato fries compared to the potato chip-shaped gimmick they call their Burgerim fries. Overall, Burgerim was a huge letdown for me. Their parking lot situation is crappy. The menu was overwhelming with crazy selections that don't make sense. The lettuce used made me feel like it was a low-quality burger even though I spent $14.23 on a seemingly simple combo. The upgrades were absolutely not worth the premium and basically coated the patties with extra stuff you wouldn't want to eat. If ordering the fried egg, understand that it will be super runny and soak the buns even wetter than the ingredients will. I'm not sure why this place is picking up steam and growing across Houston and the United States... because it sucks. I wouldn't come back here.
The dining room was clean, so was behind the counter so I assume the kitchen was. The cashier was friendly. The wait for food was short. I tried the basic burger and the falafel burger. Both were outstanding, however of the two I was more impressed by the falafel burger. That is something special honestly. Mmmmm. Cant wait to go back and try the lamb burger. I got both burgers in the $6.99 lunch special. The fries are like the most perfect fries ever. Like chips but fluffy. I highly recommend and I was certainly impressed. Way to go this place.
Cajun fries are GOOD. I got the Angus burger I think and it's good. Love the layout. Nice and cold too during super hot SUMMER time.
good burgers. great wings. friendly staff. parking can get tricky.
The service and food was amazing I would definitely recommend this place. The lady gave us some chicken wings to try this is called customer service. The staff is friendly and recommended us what to have and it was the perfect choice.
Waited 30 minutes for my three simple sliders as I watch four other people place their orders and leave. Asked for a refund and the person at the POS said they didn’t know how to do that. Terrible service. Once I received my food it was over cooked and dry. 1/10 would not recommend. No they weren’t busy, see picture.
Loved the slider options as we could get three different small burgers instead of one regular burger. This gave us the chance to taste more on their menu. Absolute enjoyed the salmon burger. The pineapple ring and sauce made this burger very tasty and added a bit a sweetness that married well with the salmon. The buns were fresh and tasty. The patties are the right amount paired with their ingredients. I would suggest to try this place. It's not mind-blowing but does provide a mighty fine burger.
A very fun and unique burger dining experience, in which you have the ability to mix and match the different size/flavor/topping options. I enjoyed the variety of different burger flavor choices. They also have normal sized burgers and sandwiches if you don't want smaller sliders. They have a wide drink variety Coca-Cola machine. The establishment has adequate seating. The staff was helpful and nice for my experience. Additional seating in the back down the hall past the restrooms. They have board games and in the back room also have a dart board which was fun to use during our dining experience. I would recommend.
