My favorite place in the area for meat supply. I like that it is very clean most important, lots of options like New Zealand lamb, aged steak and certified waygu, and friendly staff. Thanks for the suggestions when I come in.
I love this place. Even when I don't really know what I want they always go out of there way to get me the perfect cut of meat. I just made the most delicious roast . Thanks BB9!!
I was a first time customer; had planned to purchase several selections of meat. I told the guy which pieces I wanted and he selected the pieces he wanted and rudely said “they are all the same” then walked away to wrap it. Such a nice place but horrible customer service by the guy!
I ordered a charcuterie board for 5 to 6 people and Butcher Block seriously delivered. The cold cut meats were very high quality from their shop. The additional cheese, crackers, and other arrangements were almost enough for a group meal. It was well worth the money and we’ll definitely be back!
Went there a couple weeks ago for the first time. They had a great selection. Asked about getting a smaller brisket than what they had in the cooler for Christmas. The guy behind the counter said it would be no problem, they would cut one down when I came back to get it. I went back today and the guy behind the counter is now unwilling to cut it down. He'll only cut it if I buy the whole 16 pounds. Now, I'll never go back because they are not consistent and the guy today didn't seem to care about my business at all.
Unique meats available. Wild boar, Rabbit. Very good sausages. Great steaks, pork. They support our farmers in the valley, etc. Lard, the real stuff. If you smoke brisket, this where you buy lard.
Best artisan meat shop in town! A wide selection across all varieties of meats; my personal being the beef. The meat has a natural flavor unlike any other I’ve tried, and you can see the quality just by looking at the cuts. The owner and his employees are helpful and informative, and show their experience in their work. This is definitely the place to go; if you haven’t, I’d recommend it!
Was a long time customer. I go in about 2-5 times a month to get dry aged steaks. I went in to purchase apx. $100 of dry aged steaks, to be told their cutting equipment was washed for the day and I could no longer order steaks. What butcher cleans their saws before closing, let alone when I am buying enough to pay everyone's salaries for the time it would take to cut my steaks. Absolutely ridiculous business model. Thanks for the service, never again
I always feel like I'm getting a good honest deal when I go here. The staff are always very patient and knowledgeable when it comes to selecting the right cut of meat. And, if you want something amazing, get their marinated tri-tip. It is to die for!
This is my go to place for fantastic locally made bratwurst, and fresh and frozen lamb cuts. They are a top notch butcher shop, and they have a small but mighty lunch presence, creating tasty deli sandwiches, as well as quiche and soup. Try their Reuben for true awesomeness!
