Cozy cafe in a nice location at Dumbo with nice breakfast and bakery options. We went there at a late morning after a lovely walk at Dumborecommended. We had avocado toast, latte and cinnamon roll. Food was good with a lovely presentation. Service was excellent. Atmosphere is lovely too. A little bit pricey as you might expect. Recommended. 7/12/22
Very good spot for some light breakfast, pastries and coffees and conveniently located so close to Brooklyn Bridge and the Park. Didnt get to try the pastries yet but the coffee was very good. Perfect flavor and the latte art is of course a bonus for me. The menu is quite simple but executed nicely. Indoor seating is cozy and the pick-your-own table after you order is convenient. I love that there’s a couple of places to visit nearby such Manhattan Bridge View, Brooklyn Bridge, Jane’s Carousel, Time Out Market etc. Great location but parking is a challenge - no surprise there though.
I got a flat white and it was on the sour side. A little under extracted or the beans are too fruity. Since I got a milk drink, I’m not sure which of the two is more accurate. So for those who are not experienced in coffee might not enjoy it. Or for those who don’t like sour coffees. I went to the take out window on the street but the girl serving me was very nice and friendly. I would find an alternative if I knew more what’s around. I was just walking by, saw the coffee shop and decided to try. I added a photo of the view of the Brooklyn bridge from the coffee shop because it’s quite a good view from that location.
Very good coffee and breakfast options - we were here at 8am and got lattes plus the breakfast sandwich and the fruit bowl. All of it was delicious - the breakfast sandwich was a bit salty, but still pretty good. Additionally, they have tons of seats, free WiFi, and a couple of outlets for you to do work at. Highly recommend.
I really really wanted to like this place. Great location by Dumbo, great atmosphere, lovely staff but then the price and quality hit me hard. Beautiful breakfast sandwich presentation but the bun was too old that it kept getting crumbled. Next the side sals, the Lettuce was old and yucky. Then, the 12< oz Latte for the price of 16oz one. It's funny because I overheard two other folks down the street were talking about similar complaints. I hope the manager reads this and adjusts their practice accordingly for a customer like me to return.
Nice place for breakfast, everything seems homemade. Including a nice view on the Brooklyn bridge. Vegan options available. 4 stars because it is pricey in terms of the size of the portions that gets served. Paid 42 USD for 2 drinks and 2 meals. Drink size is very good, but the Avocado toast and the breakfast brioche sandwich were very tiny. Vegetarian options: Vegan and vegetarian options available.
Excellent pastry selection, fun drink choices, and bright and bustling interior! I really enjoyed the sticky date muffin— it was super moist and had a delicate sweetness. The blueberry yogurt muffin was also excellent. Breakfast empanada was stuffed with egg and a little too heavy. Great place to catch up with a friend :
I had some out of town friends who came to visit me and I took them to dumbo for the usual tour and photo session by the bridge. The poppy seed pastry and coffee were ok. However, the barista was snarky. It seemed he wasn’t happy to be there and was a bit annoyed when we ordered. We all have bad days, but if you’re in the service industry it’s a no no to bring your issues at work nor take it out on clients. The location is nice and convenient. It’s not worth the trouble. There are other places in the area with better pastries and better customer service.
Love their iced latte! Indoor design is very chill. It’s a good place to relax and chill. Give it a 4 star because I saw a fly flying around at the pastry counter.
It's a beautiful corner coffee shop with nice views. Had the empanada and a flat white. The food was great and the staff was even better. Helped me out with ordering halal foods from the menu. It's a located in a touristy spot hence a lot of tourist traffic but the place is kept clean including restroom. Funny I took pictures of restroom and not the food!
