A beautiful sushi spot in Blackstone. If you’re looking for a cozy, upscale sushi restaurant…this is it. The music was low enough that we could feel relaxed and have a conversation. We started with some black tea and appetizers. We ordered spring rolls and steamed edamame and miso soup to start. Everything was presented so beautifully.
Stopped in for a lunch date. Staff was very helpful and finding which delicious items we wanted more than others. I really just wanted to try the whole menu. Crab ragoon is usually lack luster, not this one. The filling, dough, and even the sauce on plate was delicious. The sushi was fantastic, I was blown away by the Firefly and Butterfish, both had such a depth of flavor. The torching of the Butterfish really changed the flavor of the roll and it was a nice touch. I will definitely be back to work away at the rest of the menu. Not one single misstep on the menu or service today.
Pretty cool happy hour. 3 to 6 m-f Loved the vibe and the private booths. Sushi was good! Will go again
1st time here and I loved it ! I enjoyed the food so much I forgot to take pictures..the sushi was unique my favorite the oxaca roll ..our server was very friendly and helpful..Definitely coming back again
Butterfish was a pretty decent experience. Came here thinking Happy Hour was all Sunday but apparently the hours had changed but the only menu hasn’t gotten updated yet. There’s a large selection of sushi along with other Japanese and Korean dishes. The sushi was decent but pricy for what it was. Cocktail was alright as well.Dine in: Yes
Slow, empty and the definition of a dying restaurant best describe Butterfish. Get your shots before eating here if you dare.
The food here is so delicious. I ordered the Mahalo Roll, Oaxaca Roll, Soy Caramel Wings, Salmon Nigiri and the Pork Slider... Everything was so flavorful and the Jalapeño Margarita was perfect. I can't wait to go back.
Might be my new favorite sushi place. Went here on a Sunday night to be pleasantly surprised with all day happy hour. The happy hour menu has a good mix of small plates, drinks, and sushi. Endless hot tea was only 3 dollars! Our waiter was awesome and our food came out in a decent amount of time. I particularly enjoyed the pork belly slider because it was something really different and fun. The Mount. Fuji roll was also delicious. I really love the location, too. Blackstone has become such a fun area. Can't wait to come back and try more menu items!
The food was full of great flavor! The crab rangoon were phenomenal, and the miso soup was savory and delicious. The sushi was excellent quality! The food came out slow, but the staff explained that they were short staffed. Even so, they were very friendly and attentive to us. In short, both the service and food are worth 5/5 stars!
Very good sushi and food! A little expensive, but going during their happy hours help. I was especially impressed with the pork belly slider! They were fantastic.
