Quintessential Mediterranean place with all the fixings! All fresh food. All taste good - even during lunch in the middle of the week. Owners are super friendly and make excellent suggestions.
Byblos was amazing! I actually invited a friend who is Palestinian and as I looked over the menu, I was like, omg he’s going to love this. When he arrived, he asked if I had chosen Byblos on purpose. Needless to say, he was very happy about the choice as well. There are so many vegan options here and everyone at the table was pretty much vegan so it was even better. We didn’t have to sift through everything and make changes to the dishes, most of them were already vegan! The food was just delicious and that’s really all I can possible say. The team there was very attentive and kind and the wine we chose was delicious. I honestly have no complaints. Byblos is a great place for an authentic Mediterranean meal. Thank you to the team there that really made it a great experience as well!
It’s a Greek restaurant, located in old town Orange with a good variety of middle eastern appetizers and entres
We ate here early November. The service was terrible. We tried to order several items from their menu only to be told 'we're sold out'. The food wasn't great. Growing up around mediterranean food, this was a huge disappointment to say the least. I'm surprised it has such great reviews. To each their taste buds.
This restaurant is surely one of the most pleasant restaurants in the area. Anytime I visit this place I am highly happy. They always keep their very high standard service and the cooking has slipt in the quslity that i have expected from previous visits. You no doubt will love this restaurant but cooking has dropped in quality. Good food and highly recommended.
This was our first time at Byblos cafe. Amazing shrimp kabob, hummus and tabouli. My husband enjoyed the lamb shank, which was tender and flavorful. We enjoyed the pistachio baklava; perfect ending to our meal. The waiters and waitresses were very attentive. We will definitely be back!
Bought a Falafel Sandwich from this place and it was a crime to call it a falafel sandwich... the ingredients were nowhere to the traditional recipe, never in my life was so embarrassed to fall for such bad food, I was too far to back and demand my money back ..... decided that the trash can would enjoy this more than me, sorry to be so harsh but that is truly what I felt after this Byblos Cafe visit.
Beautiful place, great food, amazing service, pleasant ambience, thank you for a nice lunch! We had a wonderful time and very pleasant experience.
Charming little restaurant. Our hostess Zalfa was a dear and Adel cooked an amazing diner. I strongly recommend it for date night or just getting together with friends. The veggie dish is a must and the Kanafeh desert came cooked to order on a hot plate, absolutely delicious. This will be my new favorite local resturant.
This is my second time after owner change. Unfortunately the change from past to new has modernized for max profit which is understandable. The classic is the same size soup bowl that now is half the volume due to special bowl! Come on man, it’s just soup! Purchased bread not good, hummus used to be the best and now granular and processed. Lamb mediocre and to much salt. New people will know nothing different but the past taste and experience are sadly a thing of the past.
