C. Burr Artz Public Library

If I could give awards for the all the libraries I've visited I would give this one the "most helpful and friendly staff" award. The people working here were absolutely fantastic and happy to help with any questions I had. The space is great as well, the children's section is large but also tucked away in a separate part of the building which allows the children to be children and other library patrons to have peace and quiet for reading, working, or studying. While there aren't a lot of study rooms and they fill up quickly, making a reservation is easy, quick, and free. Highly recommend spending some time here! A real gem of a library.

Amazing programs!! The wonderful volunteers and program assistants truly put in a lot of time and are so thoughtful when organizing the events and programs. The summer film festival featuring the outdoor movies were spectacular. The themed activities such as bubble soccer for Finding Dory and the Hawaiian dancers for Moana were astounding! We are so fortunate to live in an area that puts on such amazing programs for free!!

One of the County's finest assets. The staff is exceptionally helpful and the varied and solid resources offer education, a "spark" for the curious and programs for young and not so young, for the regulars and the first-comers.

Pretty building. Nice library. Definitely a great place to visit and browse through their books. In a great location - downtown Frederick! Right in front of lovely Carroll Creek
