Great little shop to visit. It's a bit overwhelming with how much stuff you can find here. The owners are nice and negotiable. This is a good place to trade or sell your unwanted geeky stuff. Definitely a place to check out when you want to extend your collection, and that goes for different genre not just comics.

You've got to get out to CJs if your in the area. This guy is super knowledgeable, personable and doesn't try to rake you over the coals for books. Willing to work with you for anything you need. He worked with me to put together a set of Ultimate Spiderman after I told him I was wanting to read the run. Great price and really went above and beyond to get the books together for me. Plus the shop reminds me what the traditional comic shops I grew up going to felt like. Personal and a place you could dig through boxes for hours. CJs is simply a different class of shop compared to the bigger less personnel shops in the area.

The owner is very dishonest, I've been coming here 3 years bringing my son as well which was basically a new born when I started coming here. The owner was cool with trade, and has amazing stuff but he's a dishonest negative person. I would trade comics there even ones I had gotten from him he has some aspects that are cool about his business, but anyone that can accuse you of stealing and or blatantly lie to your face isn't someone to trust or do business with. I was collecting the Metal series and had been missing some issues, well a comic was in the store I was missing and he wanted $10 or $20 for it something ridiculous being that it was apart of my pull and I never got it. So he accused me of selling that comic back to him, and after I told him I never had it he basically called me a liar to my face and wouldn't give me cover for it. Even though it was apart of my original pull. He had done that one time before with the Batman series. Also I was just interested in the Sideways comic DC was putting out at the time and told him if he gets any in I would like to check it out. Week or 2 goes by I see issue 2 grab it and ask him if he's getting #1 again. He says "he ordered it, but DC is canceling that anyway". I thought to myself, I hadn't read anything on that and this series just started the third issue isn't even out yet? But I had to order the first issue on Ebay and midtown comics for the rest. Then after 3 years of buying comics there and bringing my son who is now 3 there before he can walk I get basically accused of stealing by his lazy ass employees. So I decided to bring in a starwars figure or 2 to trade, have it in a bag and everything. That day he was having a sale on starwars figures, coincidentally I was bringing in starwars figures to trade. Walk in his store give him my trade, "oh are you buying these" no I brought them to trade. He didn't even have the figures I brought in, and if he was so concerned about stealing why are they just outside with no one watching. So after I told him no and hung out with my son his cronies the whole time were scouting me out as a thief. Now mind you I was with my 3 year old son I had been bringing there since before he could hold his head up, and this jabba the hutt over weight bastard is eyeing me as a possible thief. I told the owner I've known for the past 3 years I brought the product in 1, 2 you really think I would just steal stuff off the front table to trade in? And I know this because as I'm leaving with comics and son in hand with them kind of following me and the owner saying no he "brought those in!" When I first walked that should of been addressed to Jabba and his minion but no it wasn't. The owner has great stuff, but don't trade Ebay it yourself he'll rip you off, he'll look up your item or just find some excuse to rip you off. You can have something valuable and you can go to a pawn shop and get the same that he'll give you. You ask why did I go here so long? I have a problem with my leg and I can't drive far so Tates isn't a easy thing for me. I wanted to save money on shipping from online stores and it's a hassle when they send the wrong thing. But you don't want to deal with a dishonest negative human being like that, and his employees it's not worth it.
