Cabell County Human Services Department

The lady at the window was really nice and that it, you can’t get any help from them and when you call to talk to your case worker they don’t call you back, I have called once a week for three months and never talked to my case work or even seen them when I went in to talk to them. When I lived in Putnam county they treated you so much better.

Very nice staff that help u to the best of their ability. A lot of people in this area need help so these people work very hard but they have rules and limits as to what they can do. I think overall they do a great job!

WV Works on the second floor will give a tremendous amount of assistance to those needing to find a career. The actual DHHR on the first floor is a terrible place to go to for assistance. The staff can be extremely rude, they rarely answer their phones/return calls, they're reluctant to make copies of necessary documents, and they're dismissive at the desk. I have only experience genuine kindness from the gentleman at the sliding glass. Please be sure to bring all necessary documents. It will make it easier for you to get real assistance.

The convenience is awesome its nestled on the Cabell and Wayne county line inside is rehabilitation services workforce wv and the dhhr plus if u want you can take GED classes there its really nice to not have to go all over town
