This was by far one of the most delicious things I’ve ever eaten. Eating this full Cachapa was a combination of a huge meal while eating desert. I absolutely loved it and if you’ve never heard of it before, or heard but haven’t tried it yet.. what are you waiting for? This is a no brainer 5 I’ll be back again.
I ordered cachapa before and they were really good. Now they taste different and not the same quality. I ordered one last night and couldn’t eat it. Look really bad and taste bad.
So flavorful & juicy. I always get the same thing when I go there but they do have a great selection Recommended dishesPatacones Mix
Cachapas y más is located in 678 Seneca Avenue in Ridgewood, Brooklyn, NY. They’re casual Venezuelan kitchen offering classic street food such as corn pancakes & plantain sandwiches. We were six and the delivery was timely and the food arrived hot. We had an excellent experience ordering from this restaurant.
My friends who moved to Bushwick recently shared if we would like to try the best sandwiches in the neighborhood, Cachapas y Mas is a must. They serve 7-8 styles of Venezuelan sandwiches with various ingredients. We ordered one of each and 2 bags of finger food, Tequeyoyo & Cheese Pastelito to share with a group of 8 people. The portion was more than enough with super reasonable price. The food was an amazing hit and our favorites were Cachapas, which was made by corn pancake & Patacon, which was wrapped with double-fried plantain. Both cheesy snack was also really delicious and satisfying.
Absolutely delicious restaurant. I couldn't remember the name of the appetizer I had the last time and I described it to her and she was so helpful to get me exactly what I wanted. Very clean, very helpful, I recommend to all... their food is amazing.Food: 5/5
This is probably the best and only place to eat authentic Venezuelan street food in the whole area. Cachapa was so good. I got the cuban. The beef pastelio and cheese were slightly crispy outside and juicy inside. If you go in person just know the line will be long but its worth the wait.
Excellent!! The staff was super friendly and welcoming and the food was delicious. The cachapas were perfection and the arepa was as well. I love tequeños and those were so good, but they have something called “tequeyoyo” which is the same as a tequeño plus ham and sweet plantain and oh my god these are unreal. The sauces were perfect as well. Definitely coming back!!
I had to canceled one order and they took 3 days for them to give me my money back. They kept telling to call later because the “manager wasn’t there” after I lost it they gave me my money back with no issues. I did try the food also pretty average the cheese empanadas had soooo much oil they got stuck to the paper and fell apart!!! Terrible experience there are better places around with better prices
Can't rave enough about this place. Food - 5/5 I don't give this often Service - staff were super nice and very accommodating they could tell it was my first time and I was excited... they offered me tastings, and allowed me to substitute on a "special" item on menu. I literally start salivating every time I think of this place. Vegetarian options: All orders made to order. Kid-friendliness: Kids can choose exactly what they want since it's all made-to-order. And it they irder anything with cheese they can have fun pulling the cheese. Parking: Street parking only Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp Dietary restrictions: Everything made to order. But definitely ask/mention allergies before ordering for clarification.
