Enjoyed my time here at Cafe 26. The food is amazing, staff is efficient, and there’s always seats available. There’s plenty of space to sit if you have a party of four or more. I had the Bun 26 with a side of hash browns and baby spinach salad with coffee and OJ. For lunch I had a sweet and spicy chicken sandwich with a side of baby spinach salad, and a mango tango smoothie. The meals I had was absolutely delicious. I recommend this place to anybody looking for a good breakfast, brunch, or lunch.
The chai latte was smooth but not too sweet, with a nice foam on top. The avocado toast with the added lox was hearty and well flavorful, it came with a side of home fries and salad. The sourdough bread that they used was fresh and fluffy with a nice crispy crust, while the avocado was fresh and creamy, with the sandwich itself being extremely filling. The breakfast sandwich was hot and with a good portion of meat on it. That also came with a side of home fries. The portions were well doled out and would definitely go back there for breakfast again.
We went there for breakfast. We had the breakfast burger. It was really good. Service was a little slow but they were busy. Everyone was super nice. Definitely wouldn't mind visiting you again. Hope you're ever in the downtown Boston area and looking for a quick bite. They serve breakfast all day long.
Great halal brunch spot in the heart of the city. Absolutely tasty food. Taking one star off for the service but will visit again to be fair. We are just glad to have found a halal brunch spot right in the downtown area.
Good option for a good breakfast. Even though we got a seat, it took a while to get our food ready. Place is always crowded. If you are patient, it’s worth waiting. Don’t get there if you are in a rush though. Price is within the expected range.
I took out my quick lunch. It was weekday and I was super busy with meetings and everything. This cute little cafe was in the vicinity of my Airbnb in Boston. The orange juice was freshly squeezed and extremely refreshing. I love the juice like that- without any added sugar or anything. This place nailed it. Additionally I got myself a creeps with banana and strawberry with Nutella on top. The crepe was nothing extraordinary, however, the fruits are fresh. Overall I enjoyed the meal.
Stopped by cafe 26 for breakfast while visiting Boston, we loved our breakfast. We were seated immediately, staff was quick and friendly. Food was hot, fresh, delicious! Would return when in Boston. Loved the Halal meat only! Stop by and see for yourself! Street parking is always a struggle in this area of Boston but we were able to find a spot after a few runs around the block.
We picked up a large order. To be honest the food especially the cinnamon bun was bland and burnt. A convenient store not necessarily a good one. Oh well.
It was worth the wait!! My wife and I found this place just scrolling on google, it wasn’t the most reviewed place but almost every review was 5 star so we decided why not? We waited about 25-30 minutes normal for Boston on a sat the coffee was great, our waitress was very sweet, helpful, and attentive. I ordered the deluxe French toast with a side of bacon and eggs over easy. My with just got the usual bacon, eggs, & toast. Speaking for myself mine was delicious, absolutely the best breakfast I’ve had at a restaurant!!! Everything was cooked perfectly. PS: this restaurant does not serve any pork or beef products, which was perfect bc my wife does not eat that but no complaints everything was amazing. We leave Boston tomorrow and we have a rule no place twice, but we already decided we are breaking it to enjoy that breakfast again before we leave!
Reasonable place for breakfast/brunch, fast and not crowded. Food was fine but not amazing. Nutella French toast was good, lox crepe was good. Shaksuka was definitely not authentic, and my cappuccino tasted very strange.
