Café Bon Ami is a cute spot for a quick coffee when you're exploring in downtown NOLA and want to get away from the tourist spots. The menu is simple, but there is something for everyone, including coffee, espresso, and tea. The food selection is a bit limited, but between the pastries and overnight oats, there are some great staples. I kept it simple with a caramel iced latte with almond milk. There's also oat milk as another milk alternative. There's a cozy nook in the back and plenty of seating around the coffee station, and it's quiet for a relaxing pick-me-up.
Amazing little place in Downtown. The coffee is a high quality. A barista knows what he is doing! Place is very neat and clean. Was so happy to find this place.Food: 5/5
coffee here was actually really great, recognized some of the beans they carry and i can say they know what’s good. No pourovers but the blend for espresso was quite interesting and strong enough to taste fruity tones cut through milk.
It was fine. Not the best I've had in NOLA. But good for those who love espresso. My pull was pretty hot, so that was a minus and not very many tasting notes.Food: 3/5
Coffee lovers have to realise there are alot of nice places to get your caffeine fix that are way better than your average chain shops and this place is just such a spot. Ordered a latte and sat down to enjoy this cup of awesomeness over some social media. The barista was skilled, quick and courteous. The latte was pretty much one of the best I've had anywhere. Check them out you won't regret it.
Went there during my short stay at new orleans since I like to explore new coffee places. The lady serving wasnt very friendly, she wasnt super eager to reply my questions about beans or whether they sell it. I took a flat white, it was good but could use a more concentrated shot of espresso.Food: 1/5
The seasonal lavender blueberry latte is bomb!! Make sure you try it.Food: 5/5
I had the barrel vanilla latte. It was very milk forward. Ended up getting an extra shot of espresso. Cute little coffee place though. Only one barista.
Best iced honey lavender latte I'v ever had and the barista that looks like a tall version of Chris Carraba from Dashboard Confessional is super nice. 10/10 recommend.Food: 5/5
Specialty lattes were fantastic. The bakery items were blah. Very little seating.Food: 2/5
