Cahaba Dermatology & Skin Health Center

This was my first visit with Dr Ann Gerald today and it was great!!! I also bought my 16 yr old son with me to see her as well because he is having severe acne. She is very thorough and explained the science behind the issues we were having with our skin. I have been going to a dermatologist for years and never had someone take the time to explain things the way she did. She is a very smart and informative doctor. We will continue to see her as long as she is practicing! Thank you Cahaba Dermatology! Oh and her assistant and front desk staff was very nice from start to finish!

I had a wonderful experience here! Everyone I interacted with was friendly and knowledgeable. I saw Suzanne Vickers and was so impressed with her. She was kind, knowledgeable, patient, and thorough. I felt well taken care of by her and my nurse.

Today I was 15 minutes early for my appointment, which had been scheduled 6 months in advance. I waited 30 minutes AFTER my appointment time to ask if my paperwork has gotten lost in the shuffle at which time I was told the doctor was running late. After ANOTHER 30 minutes, I asked which desk handled rescheduling appointments. I was told I was the next on the list. I understand that doctors can run late. Some appointments require more time. Please do your patients a courtesy and tell them you are running late. Give them the option to wait longer or reschedule. I understand your time is important, but so is mine. Please be more considerate of your patients time.

Very professional and comforting staff. I see Suzanne and Gabby regularly and couldn't ask for a better care team. I've even had several nurse appointments and everyone I've seen has been accommodating to my schedule and pleasant- including the front office staff. I feel very cared for here, and happy to have this office- in Birmingham as well as in Tuscaloosa.

Justin, CRNP, could see I was anxious about places on my face. His calm demeanor and confidence that it could be taken care of really put me at ease. I did not have to wait long to be seen, and I was happy and grateful that I could get an appointment so quickly. The receptionist and checkout associate were extremely friendly also. I had a biopsy and freezing done and was still able to checkout within 35 minutes, yet I didn't feel rushed.

Love Dr. Groysman! And her assistant, Dawn is the sweetest! They make you feel comfortable and explain everything, answering any questions you may have. I highly recommend Cahaba Dermatology.

I have been going here for a few years now for different dermatological issues and everyone has been awesome. I’ve seen Dr. Gerald and most recently Elizabeth PA. I feel Elizabeth really listened to my concerns and recommended the best course of treatment. I highly recommend either of these two for any skin or hair issues.

I had a wonderful experience here. Not a long wait, very friendly and understanding staff, as well as a wonderful wealth of knowledge from Dr. Groysman! First time in my life I have had my dermatology related concerns answered with a plan of action!

Results are always amazing. However, the politeness of the staff is the cherry on top. I have just recently visited for my fourth time, and they treat me as they would the biggest spender or longest client. I have yet to encounter an employee who doesn’t seem to LOVE her job.

Elizabeth Smith was very nice. As an African American I was worried she wouldn't understand my concerns. She made me feel at ease. I look forward to our next appointment.
