Lovely place. Had a late lunch there. Loved the pork taco and the quesadillas. Food is well seasoned but not spicy hot. If you want heat, there are 6 different hot sauces to choose from. Prices are reasonable. Next time I will swing by for brunch. Staff is really good and nice. They know what they are doing.
Went their for the first time and wasn't disappointed. We ordered Jalapeno poppers the BEST and nachos. You need to try the Margaritas You need to try the margaritas. they were super delicious, My fav is Mango I love it! Love Calexico
A lot of the food here leaves some burn in your mouth, but it has amazing flavor. The decent sized hot sauce assortment at every table is a nice touch. The service is excellent. It’s really fast, and all of the waiters are really kind. There is outside seating and indoor seating. I highly recommend this restaurant for lunch and dinner with friends or family, but not more than 10 people.
I came here with my cousins for brunch and honestly it was fabulous. The atmosphere was lively, hip and relaxed. It wasn’t busy when I was there which was around after 12 pm. I love the vibes and the service was great. I definitely got the mimosa which was 2 for the price for one. One downside is I did wished they had unlimited cause girrrrrrrl!! We got the Brussels sprouts, the corn dish and also the jalapeño poppers. The Brussels sprouts wasn’t sweet enough and too sour for me. For my main course, I got the fish burrito bowl because whatttt?! It was tooo fulfilling that I had to pack to go. It was good times to catch up with my cousins and I’ll definitely stop by again.
Always a solid option for brunch, lunch, or dinner in Park Slope. Reasonable prices and good portions. They are very happy to accommodate dietary needs and requests. We love eating here!
I followed the waiter's recommendation and got the chorizo rancheros and it was alright. The rice was a little dry and the eggs were a little bit stale but the homemade pepper sauce that came in the side made up for it.
Fun atmosphere, fast service. I have had only the tacos here and most are very good and their passion fruit margarita is so flavorful!
Quality and value is the benchmark for Calexico. A place to make memories and enjoy some of the best Mexican food in Brooklyn. One of the few places that know how to make the best salsa and fresh chips. The team here is engaging and caring. Thank you Karo the writer and Emma. You are awesome.
Great Mexican brunch spot! 2 for 1 bloodys, lots of flavor, not too spicy but not boring. Carne asada actually had enough steak and not just all rice and beans. Servers were very nice, ever brought some extra stuff for the bloody Mary’s.
NEVER disappoints!! Had 2 Fish Tacos crispy fresh fish with a mango chutney. $13 Delish that’s the bowl w/ napkins a Tostada salad $14 and a ToGo 16oz margarita $20 it’s tasty, enough liq to taste but not overpowering. The best $51.17 I spent in a long while. You’ll enjoy
