Cal Pro has a great selection of sporting good equipment. It was also very exciting to finally find somewhere they offer relacing of baseball/ softball gloves and it was a very fast turnaround time! Staff were very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful! Defiantly going back !

Cal pro has been the main sports Store for custom work on the hill for quite some time, with most of the surrounding high schools going to Cal pro for orders such as custom embroidery and banners. Staff is friendly and helpful, and they have lots of items even in a packed location.

Coaching my daughter's basketball team and I was rushing down PCH to get there before closing at 6 p.m. and called at 545 (I was about 10 mins away) to ask about whether they'd be able to take me if I made it there before 6 p.m. (saturday night) I asked the woman answering the phone if they would. She said she'd have to talk to her manager. As I'm still driving (hands-free bluetooth) and very close, the response she relayed back to me was, "I don't think you'll make it," and "...he says they won't be able to stay open if you come after 6 p.m." I responded "I'm still going to try to make it." I got an uninterested sigh and an "OK" before I hung up. Guess what? I made it before 6 p.m. (558 -- yes it was late, but before their official closing time. I called while pulling in the parking lot and got the same woman asking her, "I'm pulling in the lot. Will your manager still be able to help me?" She put me on hold and kept me on hold while I got out of the car. as I walked to the door, the manager never looked at me, just pushed the door wide open so it would stay. I walked in past him, took about 5 minutes to pull items (they took an additional 4 pulling one of the items they could have retrieved 10 minutes earlier) and left at 6:11. All of this in an El Nino rain. Sports Authority is going to eat some lunch, I think .....hint: it's not gonna be mine.

I went there twice today. I got very little help. I came a second time because I need to exchange something. It was worst than when I came the first time! No one greeted me. When I said I needed to do an exchange, the girl rolled her eyes. She came back to the counter and just put the item in the bag and said, "here". I will never go back there again.
