Calvary Church

The ministry of this church reaches around the world. From helping with hurricane Katrina years ago to orphanages in Ukraine, supporting missionaries here at home, and in many foreign countries, and local activities that enhance the spiritual, physical and emotional needs of this great metropolis. We got to visit occasionally over the last 40 years and never want to miss an opportunity to visit and be ministered to by this church.

Over the past few years we have attended Calvary Church a few times, when we are in town, and have appreciated the worship experience and have felt very welcomed. My wife and I enjoy Shawn’s preaching, the music is excellent and very worshipful. We will keep coming back as we are able to.

Great church, genuine people, very welcoming, big on community.

This is a very big church with a lot to offer, however if you are a first time visitor you can enter and exit without being noticed or greeted. If you are looking for a church that will make you feel welcome right from the beginning this might not be the place for you.
