Camaradas El Barrio

This is one of my all time fav lil treasures in El Barrio where I grew up. They have wonderful food so rich in flavor. Great sangrias & happy hrs. The BEST live music. Exciting & fun events. Great go to spot for a fun night out.

Had an awesome pernil mofongo with pig oil and garlic sauce, it was great. The bartender was also very friendly and informative about future events.

Always enjoyed this place for years. Great music, good food. Bar needs a little more variety. I always enjoy myself and invite many friends to enjoy way back Wednesday. Last night was disappointed with the bartender and her rudeness. Acting bothered every time a drink was ordered. She seemed annoyed and didn't even offer a napkin with your drink. A great place like this should have a friendly bartender and someone who enjoys working in a great establishment. I still give a good recommendation for this place. Good food, great music and nice crowd.

Great atmosphere and awesome music! Drinks are typical midtown, downtown prices. Awesome food, and a comfortable home like environment. A variety of events held here. From dance parties, to burlesque show, to live Hip Hop showcase. Drop in you won't regret it.

Great little spot for a random night and a quick bite! I was here for a party of ten folks for a birthday celebration on 11/14/16. Monday is open mic night! Food is filling and cooked thoroughly! Although they were short staffed, they made sure are glasses were filled and accommodated well.

Local bar with cheap drinks, friendly bartenders and an amazing variety of music. Not huge, but a good area for dancing, with great DJs and a respectful, non-judgemental, diverse crowd. Great for a fun night out without having to go too far from home.

This Restaurant /Bar is very cozy and has a really mature atmosphere and vibe to it. The place was crowded when I visited last Friday night. There were various people of diverse backgrounds. The bartenders werebfastvand friendly. The food was delicious and the drinks were just right. I would definitely recommend the place. It is at a good location and near subway and public transportation. I saw several Uber drivers waiting for patrons. The window in the front is cool and gives it an island type style. Like the bars in Puerto Rico.

Great place to enjoy latin culture and grab a drink. Fun place, people there are nice. Service is good. Place is not too loud. Their empanadas are amazing! Wouldn't go here for a first date maybe second.

So happy to have found this place after my recent move into the neighborhood! The HH is on point, the sangria is trouble waiting to happen, the service is friendly, and the atmosphere is lively. Haven't made it to any of the live music nights, but I've heard good things!

Pros: Food is decent and good for the price. I love their chicken rolls, which is basically chicken parmigiana and pizza dough combined. If you need a quick bite and are in the area, I would consider this as an option if you are in the mood ..
