We can't say enough great things about our experiences with Camp Playland.  Our daughter has been going every summer since she was four and she begs to go back each year.  During her firat summer, within weeks she became a compitent swimmer (two, one hour sessions in the pool each day) such that I didn't need to worry about her safety poolside anymore.  She has made lasting friendships and has an amazing time each year.  As a mom safety was a major concern for me (I was very nervous about sending her to camp, period), however once I visited and saw all the safety measures and precautions which are in place I was on board.  Can't say enough great things about 'Uncle Richard' and 'Aunt Amanda' and all the amazing staff and camp counselors.  They are attentive, warm, encouraging and caring. We love Camp Playland in Redding!
