Vibe- This is one of the most cozy coffee shops I’ve been to! Maybe it’s because it literally is a house that was turned into a coffee shop : there’s a big space in the front and then there’s 3 other rooms with plenty of seating options. There’s 3 bar style areas to sit at, some couches, and a great amount of tables with chairs. There’s some seating outside too! Customer service- Amazing! The barista that served me was sweet and helpful. Food/drinks- I got a cortado with oat milk and vanilla. To eat I got the black bean tamales that came with plantain chips and everything was so good! Parking- There’s about 9 spots in the lot of the shop and then street parking as well.
Great cozy place. Wonderful spot to study except for the back ground music, which is sometimes off and the dim light is very soothing. The staff is just super sweet and amazing. There is a decent number and types of seats to choose from as well; indoors and outdoors. However, the parking can be a hassle as is the case with many other cafes/restaurants in the area. And also the food is really unimpressive. Maybe only on Sundays or that one particular Sunday I was there, starving! The pastries were not fresh made the previous day according to the cashier and there was only one choice of food: tamales which was honestly not the best tamales in town. AND it was definitely over-priced. I think I’ll go back there but definitely not order food…
Nice, cozy, welcoming spot with good coffee and some unique eats. The tamales were good. The cafe de olla was delicious, but my wife was hoping for a latte.
The best pork tamales I’ve had in Houston so far! Delicious and unique coffee drinks - try the horchata iced latte. Great patio and dog friendly.
Pros: the drinks are really well made, there are unique options not found in most other coffee/tea places. Very quaint atmosphere, and tables and chairs are spread out so you don't feel crammed. Cons: very limited parking, somewhat loud music, and food taste good, but is pricey for what you get.
Loved the vibe here. Barista was cool. The cafe de Olla, chefs kiss. It has an amazing flavor. It comes with a free refill which I definitely took advantage of while there. Get the piggy cookie if you haven’t tried it. Soft baked with a great ginger taste.
Great coffee spot that specializes in coffee from Mexico and south. Had a cold brew and caught up with friends. Music was a good volume, seating was comfy and plentiful, staff were friendly, speedy, and helpful. Cute interior, too.
Love their signature drinks. My personal favorite is the Horchata Iced Latte. They have plenty of indoor and outdoor space. It’s one of my go to places to study.Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: YesTakeout: Yes
Really cute spot on the corner. I love getting an iced horchata latte during the summer and warm drinks in the fall I’m really stoked about coming here more often once it starts to chill a little bit. It’s a good study spot as well.
I come to this coffee shop not only for their Horchata lattes, but to get some work done. Great place to do work as it's quiet, has a variety of seating options in door and outdoor and again, great Horchata lattes. I tried their pineapple empanada which delicious. It tasted like a pineapple upside down cake. The asthetic is a older/vintage. Dog friendly.
