Candlewyck Cove Resort- Grand Lake

I had a hard time picking between a 4 and 5 star review. You can tell the place ( or at least the king suite) is a little older and needs a little TLC. That's not a deal breaker for us though. The fireplace is awesome as it's one of those that is built into the wall that separates the bedroom and living room so you can enjoy it in both rooms. Hot tub is out on the deck and was amazing. Only thing is I feel sorry for anyone under you as it's a 2 story building and your hot tub is above the person under you so they'll get dropped on. There's a microwave and mini fridge along with coffee maker. You have a beautiful view of the lake (just the cove but still beautiful). We were the only ones staying in the king suites but if full and everyone is outside them not so private I imagine as there's not much of any kind of wall between you and your neighbor and you can see half your neighbors hot tub. Service here is amazing and they fixed us up nicely with their February special (50 dollar gift card to 1909 but you pick from 3 things including a bottle of wine and glasses or massages). No breakfast off season which is okay. All in all, we loved it.

My family and I LOVE this place! We have been there a few times, and the facilities are awesome! The staff at Candlewyck are amazing! Emily (the property manager) is so personable, and friendly. She organized a night for the kids that included smore's around the bonfire, and an outside movie night for the kids with an inflatable projector screen. Our children loved it!!! They run promotional deals a few times a year that are WORTH IT! I would highly recommend Candlewyck Cove Resort! The boat rentals are an added feature that you can't get at some other places, and the H20 staff that takes care of the boats are so friendly, and willing to help with anything you need. We are from OKC, and we escape here twice a year! I hope this review was helpful! We haven't yet had a bad experience at Candlewyck!

What a spectacular place. The cabins are lovely and the staff is very friendly. Give them a try you won’t be disappointed.

We were here visiting my nephew who lives in Grove, OK. We are from California, so we did some research online and found that this place met all of our needs for our stay and we were not disappointed. It was very clean and the staff was beyond incredible! We were staying in one of their town homes for 3 nights, 4 days and everyday they made sure we were extremely comfortable. This location was fairly close to Groves downtown and close by a local grocery store. Our town home was a two bedroom, two bath with a full kitchen and laundry unit. They provided us with enough supplies including dishes and silverware, as well as a BBQ grill, that we used twice during our stay. They also have a basketball court and other activities for kids. It's very family friendly and welcoming. I can't say enough about this place. We will definitely be coming back on our next visit!

Cozy cabins. Really enjoyed the hotub out on the deck. The bed was so comfortable which is a huge deal breaker for my wife. Emily the manager was nice and helpful. We will be back again soon.
