Cane and Table is one of those deceptively small restaurants you must visit while in New Orleans. Located a few blocks from the French market, Cane and Table embodies the foodie culture of the city. We visited on Easter Sunday and were immediately sat despite reservations being full. The service was a bit slower just due to how busy they were but we enjoyed everything else. Their menu is a bit on the small side but what they serve packs a punch. I had the wedge salad and burger while my friend had the plantains and burger. I don’t usually go for a salad but the wedge salad was delicious! Both of us agreed that the burger was the star of the show, but my friend did not like the fry straw topping while I couldn’t get enough of it. The Sardis delight drink was a delight! For two people we spent 70$+tip! They do have an included gratuity fee of 20% so make sure you check your bill.
What a find! Had a nice birthday dinner here. Reservations recommended. Skip the Chicharrón. The Bouillabaisse was honestly not great and it was expensive. Very watery, and bland but still had a good quantity of seafood . The bread was the best part. The ribs , omg.... If you're reading this just get the ribs. Amazing sauce, tons of juicy fall off the bone pleasure. Just get the ribs. You're welcome. Kid-friendliness: Don't bring kids here Parking: Almost no parking only free street parking but really difficult and rare Wheelchair accessibility: No way, not at all. Avoid if you need to use a wheelchair, french quarter sucks for wheelchair users in general
Great decor that is appropriate for the Cuban/Caribbean vibe they are aiming for. Staff is great, cocktails are great, and everything is served quickly. It is a full restaurant, but the highlight here is the drinks.
Beautiful spot with an outdoor patio, and great cocktails. Try the Sardi’s Delight, which is an interesting swizzle on a gin daiquiri and not too sweet. To eat I had the crawfish rundown, which was a yummy crawfish curry. My mother liked the crawfish croquettes and tostones.
The courtyard is a quaint verdant decadent decay. Not only is the food great, but it is a unique cuisine in the context of the Quarter. I appreciate the built in gratuity policy.
The wedding we attended decided to have the recepction here and it was perfect. The food selection was unique, tasty and beautifully presented. The bartenders attended to all of our crazy requests and our shenanigans. I would definitely recommend this restraunt and rent the whole space if you want an íntimate celebraction. Thank you for all the hard work to make that wedding amazing.
It's a refreshing twist on popular Caribbean food! Their homemade Jamaican Patties are a must try! They have a wonderful outdoor ambiance
Crawfish rundown was excellent. Sweet plantains were also great. Came here solo on a work trip and they were able to seat me at the bar but probably would recommend a reservation. Cocktails were also very good.
Beautiful design! My group sat at the bar with Omar and he took real good care of us. I had the pulpo and mushroom toast, delicious!!
My wife and I celebrated our marriage in New Orleans, and on the recommendation of a local tour guide, we sought out the Cane and Table. We loved it. The cocktails were perfect. They served the best gazpacho I have ever tasted. The entrees satisfied our hunger and our highest expectations. It's small, intimate really. It's facade is deceptively demure. But it's wonderful. The service -- from the host, to the waitress to the bartender, was top notch.
