Canton Chinese Restaurant

The people that manage and own this restaurant are very nice. The buffet is excellent with plenty of choices from meat dishes, fish/shrimp dishes, veggies and sushi. Fruit and desert bars are outstanding. If you are in a hurry and do not want to wait for your meal Canton Chinese Restaurant buffet is for you.

I just love this place and so do my door dash customers! The food is perfect and the staff is well coordinated. Orders are always ready before I can get there, and the customers are plenty! It's always busy when I come by. Make a point of coming to this place when in the area.

The staff is courteous, but unfortunately this does not make up for how uncomfortably warm the restaurant is and how unappetizing the food is. I ate here tonight for the first time in 3 years, warning my boyfriend that this was the worst food I've ever tried to eat in my life. Nothing has changed.

My family and I went here today. The seven of us (including grandparents) went and filled up our plates at the buffet, headed back to our table and started to eat. All of sudden, my wife says, “Stop!” I stop and look at her in confusion and then she points out the roach in her plate. Yes, it was clearly a roach in the sauce! We then all proceeded to quickly stand up and I showed our waitress who, when simply pointing to the roach on the plate, very clearly understood that we were leaving without much of a conversation. The tables next to us stood up and came over to get a good look also. We tried not to make a scene but, with the size of our group leaving so quickly, it gathered everyone’s attention with reactions ranging from disgust to cursing. I could add that the place was extremely hot (no A/C or turned off?), but I’m not sure any of that matters. We will never go back to this restaurant and it may be years before we even attempt a Chinese buffet again.

I was warned off of this place by my co-workers. I however went and found the place to be no better or worse than any buffet than I have been exposed to in the past. Sure, in the summer I can see the A/C not being able to keep up. Sure, the lighting is a little dim. However, I did not see any bugs, hair, or rodents. For now, this place is on the rotation.
