CANVAS is Memphis' one and only Interactive Arts Lounge. Dedicated to all things Art and all things Memphis, CANVAS is Midtown's best new spot to relax and enjoy live, local art and music. CANVAS is locally owned and located on Madison Avenue in the heart of Midtown. Come hang with us and discover the perfect place to chill and enjoy our signature dirty martini - The Dirty Artist - made with smooth Artist Vodka. While here, you'll have the luxury of experiencing everything Local and LIVE; from music, to art demonstrations from local painters, photographers in action, sculptures, and musicians. If you want to step out from the chic indoor ambiance to get some fresh air, head out back to our new, spacious and dog-friendly patio and enjoy good drinks, good food, and good company with an open vista of one of one of Memphis' most charming and Historic Midtown neighborhoods. Canvas is classic midtown Memphis bar that offers lots of fun opportunities on a night out. Ranging from live music, to open jams, and karaoke nights! Everyone is welcome here, so be prepared to see some eclectic people who you may just vibe with a lot!
Fun spot to dance with friends on nights they have DJs perform. Could be cleaner and have a more interesting bar menu and wine list.
Very fun place to go if your looking to hang late hours, great bartender and friendly people

I used to live in midtown and I wish this place had been here when I lived here. Kind of had the dive bar feel, but clay at the same time. A paradox if you must. Chill, beautiful, amicable, and affordable. If you want a place to enjoy outstanding food, best drink prices in midtown, amazing customer service, good mixed drinks, and a decent wine selection then this is your place. I can't say enough great things about this place. I highly recommend this place.
All people are welcome here. Was a great experience for me. Made me miss the bars back home. Don't go if you are weak minded and can't handle all people. Cause you will find it all here. Great place!!!
Decent bar, but the pool table was missing balls and some other bar games on the patio were broken. Otherwise it has a cool atmosphere and the prices weren't too bad. I would definitely give it another chance in the future.
I had such a great time! Grace is an absolutely fabulous bartender! She was the only bartender with a full house and getting a drink was very easy to get! Karaoke on thursdays brought a full house, everyone was fantastic! I highly recommend this place!! Cannot wait to go back! Hands down my new favorite bar in Midtown area! Even parking was easy!
Eh. Can be fun. Depending on the crowd. Might get overcharged so use cash.
