Canyon Rim Visitor Center

This place is really beautiful! I would definitely say it’s a must see and you must drive on this super tall bridge! Third tallest bridge in the USA! The road you can take down the side is a must to see the bridge at different views! Only reason I’m giving this place a 4 Star is because the gift shop is super small and super pricey. I wanted to buy something but couldn’t bring myself to spend that kind of money on thing I felt should be a lot cheaper. But again please stop by and see this beautiful bridge!

My daughter is on her way to becoming a Junior Ranger and learned a lot while here. Very informative, beautiful God given nature, and great people to help. Great stopping point for road trips.

So we were on a road trip and we decided to stop by the New River Gorge lookout for a picture. This place is a must! There is a great view of the valley for pictures. The facility is full of information on the history of the Gorge, the surroundings and a gift shop too. A great stop for information on hiking the Gorge also.

Awesome view! Highly recommend walking down the stairs for a slightly better view of the bridge. I also recommend taking the drive to the other side.

Beautiful! We just stopped here to go on the overlook. But there is also a long challenging trail for hiking and another trail that's not quite so difficult. Also, there is ziplining and lots of picnicking spots.
