It's one of those days when you feel like you want a glass of beer and have a taste of those sweet oysters. Without having to take the train and go to the city, this is the place to be. Me and my husband just walked to this wonderful venue with cool people and attentive servers, it was close to midnight, the bar is open till 4am and they have this spacious outside seating. A must see .
A very chill atomsphere, and loved the the outdoor seatings! Food service was quick and tasted great.
Definitely could be a great time if it's a nice day and you want to hang out with friends and drink beer. I came to eat here noticing seafood selections. The oysters were fresh and tasty, clam chowder a little runny and not as thick as I prefer; but I am not judging on my preferences. The fish and chips were a 1 out of 10! Thick piece, stringy not cooked through, fries were soggy. Prices aren't insane. And staff was very cool. But the fish and chips were a huge deal. I was very disappointed but will definitely hang out here just to drink.
the outdoor space is pretty nice, but the selection leaves a lot to be desired.
I really liked this place. It has great decor and vibe and the service was ok, but they didn't have any clams or oysters which doesn't leave many options with such a limited menu. We ordered 3 things and they were out of 2 of them. What we did have was great, but we were disappointed in the limited options on a Sunday afternoon brunch. This is probably why there weren't many people
Decided to breakout my passport and set sail for Brooklyn to try a new place that a friend recommended. The new owners of this spot did a great job capturing a New England Fish Shack. The food was really tasty! Got to talking with one of the owners, Dana. A Massachusetts native. Now I understand how they were able to get the authentic feel and taste of the Mass coast. Great location off the L train. There were 6 of us and we basically ordered everything but "Thank you and come again" off the menu. No disappointments here. Very friendly service. Sat outside went in OCT, yeah, I know, bit late. Casual and fun atmosphere. Didn't try the bar but looked like a fun spot to grab a drink and hang. Give it a go and have fun.
Bit pricey but the oysters were delicious. It's such a random beach set up in the middle of a street in Brooklyn. Honestly I forgot were I was for a second. The fish and chips was amazing. They had a nice draft selection of beers to choose from. I would recommend and return again!
Came here for brunch with a party of 5. The service was horrendous. None of the dishes came out at the same time and the food was cold. Two of our party ordered the lobster roll which our server somehow never placed the order for... it took us waiting over 45 minutes and asking where the rest of our party’s food was for our waiter to tell us he never placed the order. Other parties here have been seated for approximately 30-40 minutes and still have not been greeted. For a restaurant that’s not busy, this service is uncalled for. Will not be returning. Overpriced for the quality of food.
Fine drinks and overall, great service. Although the looks of the place could be much more inviting, the patio really calls for some sweet mid-summer hangouts in such a convenient locations. Many citizens are lucky enough to have a place right next to their jobs and homes and others can feel invited to this great spot.
Enjoyed the atmosphere and ran into some people I knew so it seemed like a cool neighborhood spot. But the bartender seemed to not know anything about the oysters he was giving me at a seafood spot and he also forgot to put in our order so our dinner took 45 minutes on a weekend afternoon. Maybe it's more of a chill drink spot at night. I'd still give it another try.
