Love it! If you're driving, plan ahead to leave work early and to find parking but once you're in the arena, security, staff, everyone is very helpful and kind. All seats have a great view (definitely nicer the closer you are, but the 400s are built so nothing is obstructing your view and the prices are pretty reasonable). Concessions are expensive but portions are big for food and pours are generous for alcohol. If you take the metro, it's not hard to get in and out of the arena, just no personal space on the train. If you drive, depending on where you park and if you like to stay till the end of the event, make sure your car is filled with gas because you may wait 30-40min to get out of the lot. Typical DC traffic but worth it for the events! Great location for hitting bars, clubs, and restaurants after the event too.

Nice enough arena, fast admission and exit, lots of different food/beverage options and fast lines. Loses a star because the seats are incredibly small - I'm a bigger guy (not huge, but large), and I barely fit in some of the seats. I'm pretty sure the corners are smaller than the ones on the sides. I had to slide forward to bypass the arms getting in and out.

Okay venue. Pretty typical “arena” style seating (high angles in the upper tiers and very narrow seats and isles between rows). Not very comfortable for long shows/events. Decent selection of beers, but be prepared to pay $12 for a 20 oz cup. Had an issue with a really rude Usher. I went and got a beverage during the show and arrived back at my section and realized I was on the opposite side to get to my seat. So I went to the very front row, where the seats were empty and covered mind you, and this @$$ of an Usher came rushing directly at me shining his very bright flashlight directly in my eyes and yelling, I believe, because the concert was very loud, “No, no, no!” He got directly in my face, still shining the flashlight in my face, and said I had to turn around. I tried to explain that I was going to my seat, and that I was on the opposite side, and he said I couldn’t. He was very rude about it, and I believe he called me a couple names or made a rude comment. (Again, it was very loud.) Anyway, in my opinion, the guy was really a $#!#head about it. Other staff I encountered were good/nice, but not this guy in Section 410, on April, 17, 2018. Oh! Suggest bringing ear protection for the bigger concerts! 😊

With being in the heart of DC it's a really nice place!! Just hard to get to and out of the parking decks near the facility. Unless you're used to the city hectic traffic I'd advice using the Metro! Made the mistake of driving one time, never again! Very clean facility and organized friendly staff willing to help any way they can!

I find that this arena, much like MSG really doesn't have a bad seat. Crowd is usually very well behaved (maybe only shows I go to), but it is an enjoyable venue. Super convenient, right above the red line at Gallery Place. Lots of places to eat around there (I recommend Cava and &pizza, only a block away). Do not buy anything in the arena. Everything is whacked out expensive, at prices that, frankly, are beyond gouging, especially considering the concert ticket prices, easily over $100 on average. Still, I love going to see shows here. You won't regret it!
