A cherished old school bookstore with knowledge literally lining the walls floor to ceiling. Always good music playing for you to peruse the amazingly well organized sea of books old and new. I hope this place stays open forever.

The upstairs is a fire hazard, the basement is a death trap and finding what your looking for often seems like a scavenger hunt. You should enter with a thrift store mindset if you know what I'm talking about. Don't forget to look behind the books and don't be afraid get on your knees to search the back recesses of the bottom shelf, you just might find what you didn't know you were looking for. If your in the market for a foreign language book you might have to stand in line, that section doubles as the bathroom (careful, it might smell like poo depending who was in there before you. I for one have no shame in stinking up the place) Be sure to read all the hand written notes taped to every surface, it's half the fun of the experience and some of it is vital safety info. The space is tight so don't be afraid to say "excuse me" and don't get too focused on the books, someone is probably waiting politely to get past you. I wish the sci-fi section what a bit better but other then that I hope the place never changes. Well maybe a little.

This place is legit scary. The bookshelves are overflowing and they're anchored in place (some of them lean precariously). Witty little signs posted throughout. Books are stacked two deep, so good luck finding that particular book. But, if you don't find something you want, then you don't really like books.

This is probably the best, most charming bookstore I've ever been to. Jim is the amazing owner who will be more than happy to help you out while giving you a healthy amount of sass.
