Can't have a bad time here. Good cocktails, extensive wine list, bar food or order from the restaurant menu. Live music that gets patrons involved. House pizza is fresh and authentic...I always ask for extra Italian sausage and black olives and people come ask what I got.

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING HIDDEN GEM!!!! My wife and I were looking for a nice bar to enjoy happy hour on a Tuesday while visiting NOLA without our kids. We were staying close to the airport and in our search of Happy Hour specials, we stumbled upon Capri Blu, and it ended up being one of the most enjoyable nights I have ever had around New Orleans. DRINKS: First, the bar service. GREAT $3 martinis!!! A perfectly shaken dirty Martini with blue cheese-stuffed olives, and my wife took advantage of their Tuesday night "half-price" bottle of wine special. Throughout the night, the bartender was very attentive, courteous and offered great advice on the small plates. It was refreshing to have a classic bartender who could mix exceptional drink concoctions with just the right amount of conversation to make the night enjoyable. FOOD: The small plates were phenomenal. Generous portions and the flavors were out of this world. We ordered the blackened scallops, crabmeat ravioli, eggplant crab cake, and clams. Served with fresh baked bread, the four small plates completely satiated our appetites. EASILY IN THE TOP 3 CULINARY EXPERIENCES I HAVE ENJOYED IN NOLA!!!!! AMBIENCE: Before the first drinks were even poured, the owner, Chef Andrea walked over from the adjoining restaurant to greet and welcome us to his bar. It is hard to find the personal touch like that any more, and when the food came out it was apparent that there is great attention to detail in the kitchen. Midway through our small plates, Chef came out again to ensure everything met our tastes and expectations, and at the end of our night, he and the manager thanked us personally for our business as we headed to our Uber. Treating your customers as if they are family, and making sure all their needs are met is a lost art form for some establishments these days. Chef Andrea and his staff at Capri Blu have mastered the art of combining superb drink specials and mouth-watering culinary delights, with a personal level of customer service and attention to detail. Do yourself a favor and stop in for an unforgettable experience. You never know what celebrity might even walk in and say hello!!! THANKS FOR A MEMORABLE NIGHT!!!
