The Bobbie is a good sandwich.. the bread isn’t too thick and they pack it with turkey, stuffing and cranberry sauce.. the people behind the counter are a delight to talk to.. really nice people.. I would recommend checking it out.. half a sub was $6.. reasonable pricing..
Great tasting sandwiches, but not what we ordered. Absolute chaos in the store. Manager did nothing to organize costumers ordering and picking up or to organize and assist her hard working staff. Manager created a very uncomfortable atmosphere by yelling and telling customers that staff was new and had never worked football season and that she's turning off the phones for Super Bowl Sunday. No problem, we'll take our business elsewhere.
Capriotti’s silverside did an amazing job preparing us for the UB tailgate against Maryland and has become a tradition for the UB tailgates regionally - everyone loved the sandwiches - especially the Bobbi - thank you to the incredible staff - the Fischer’s
Heard about the Bobbie. And did some research and was intrigued to see if it was as good as the one at WaWa. My apologies for my disrespectful comparison. This sandwich is Fan-Fn-Tastic!!!!! I live in NJ but anytime I’m in Delaware I’m trying something else. Thank You!Recommended dishesThe Bobbie
Excellent experience from the phone call when I ordered to pickup, the store was very busy when I got there, but very well staffed and efficient. The bonus was when I got home to eat, Our subs were very tasty! Will definitely recommend to all my friends and family
This was my first experience with any Capriotti's. I was visiting family in the area and picked an order that had been phoned in. The food was good, but the surly and insolent attitude of some of the employees was what was most memorable. Especially annoying was one young man who kept saying "HUH?" while smirking as he pretended not to hear me. Clearly, the concept of 'customer service' is not a high priority here. I will not patronize this location again.
My family and I used to go to this Capriotti's, but in the last few years I got tired of dealing with the staff's attitudes every time I'd go in for pickup. After the half-dozenth time being made to feel like *I* was bothering *them* with obnoxious attitudes, we gave up and haven't been back since. Good food isn't worth knowing you're going to be berated walking through the door. So why leave this review now? I heard a Capriotti's commercial on the radio today and got online to see if their attitudes/arrogance changed: based on recent reviews, I'm sorry to see that's still not the case.
Ordered a large turkey sub on Tuesday about 5pm and there were a few pieces of bone in the sub, quality control is usually very good with respect to this but this certainly is concerning
We got a large wagyu cheesesteak with fried onions and this may have been a mistake on my part provolone cheese. It has a very long roll. It did not pass the eye test. When I unwrapped it all I saw was the very long roll. The meat was good. Getting fried onions may have also been a mistake because I tasted a lot of fried onions. I think the hardiness of the provolone cheese took away from the tenderness of the wagyu beef. I'll take the hit for ordering provolone cheese. I think Capriotti's could really help themselves by having a suggested way to order your American wagyu beef cheesesteak. I am pretty sure that 90% of the Cheesesteak eating population doesn't know what Wagyu beef is and/or the best way to order it. We are glad we tried hangman Brewing. Fun Goth Decor and live bands, not my thing but everyone else seemed to really like it. Fun story about Hangman Brewing, live bands and me.
The food tastes good; however, both times I’ve ordered pickup or delivery, the order was incorrect. In my last order, something was missing that I was charged for. I emailed, texted, and called twice to ask for the total to be adjusted. I will change this part of the review if I hear back or if I am not charged for the missing item. In my experience, at this location, the people working have been very rude in my experience. For this reason, I prefer the Union st location.
