The services I have received from Cardinal Pools on NW 10th have been more than disappointing. A few months ago we hired them to resolve issues with our pool. We asked them to replace the heater and were told, it's too expensive to do that, but they could fix the current one. A non professional technician came to my home and fixed the heater which only worked for a couple of days and replaced the pump with a brand new onw which does not work we had to have them come back and redo the work and they did that while we were not home, so when we came back home from work both the heater and the brand new pump NOT WORKING again. I went to the store and spoke with the owner I believe , David, I explained to him what the issue was and he said he’s going to send a tech out to our house on June 7th and that every time that they are there at my house the heater and the pump works fine and when they leave it doesn’t work and that’s not their problem because while they are there it works fine. On June 7th nobody showed up at my house I called David and he said I don’t have you down for today I’m sorry I’ll send a tech tomorrow morning, as long as you are present to pay the bill and I asked him you forgot to send a tech to my house and tomorrow as long as someone is present to pay the bill you will send a tech??? He said yes, because we are not there to push any buttons and every time we are there everything works fine but they stop working when we’re not there and that’s not his problem I asked David for a refund and was told no. From the first day they came to our house we have pictures and videos of everything and we have send it to them proving that they do such poor incorrect job on such expensive pools As of yesterday we have hired an Attorney to help us resolve this matter EVERYTHING IN THEIR REPLY IS FALSE I don't recommend these people to anyone

Very knowledgable staff... they have been great at helping me maintain my pool, fix issues with it, and explain they whys behind all of it. Prices are reasonable and they dont just want to sell you products without being certain it will solve problems. I even got called by them when I posted on facebook about an issue I was having maintaining chlorine levels. Definitely over and above what I expected from a pool place.

They are very helpful and economical in testing the pool water we bring to their store and then recommending the appropriate treatment. Friendly and responsive to questions.

It makes me sad to do a two star review but I’m beyond annoyed. Two years ago after we moved into our house we found out that the past owners hosed us with our inground pool and after getting the run around from another company cardinal saved the day. They repair our pool plumbing and everything beautifully. Would give them a five star for that any day. Fast forward to this year. We decided to open our pool ourselves, we always have had someone close and open it for us. We proceeded to take the cover off only to find it is drastically different than when it was uncovered beforeI totally get that can happen but the kicker is full bottles of unopened algae preventative floating in our pool. Simple. Long established store with superior no nonsense knowledgeable staff. Even the most experienced owners benefit from a free expert water test and advice. Usually have the parts in stock or can either ship them in or suggest where to obtain. The only thing that could improve this store, is maybe a better location, as much has changed and developed over the decades since it initially opened, but then we'd probably have to pay extra instead of benefiting from a low overhead. A better store than the majority, and worth the drive. Definitely recommend. I've been a pool owner for two decades and trust Cardinal AquaTech over most others who lack in key areas.

Nice demeanor and seemed knowledgeable, but I had a pre-purchase pool inspection scheduled two weeks in advance that the seller needed to have done on a specific day before they left town. Cardinal called me 2 hours before the appointment to cancel due to scheduling issues and left me scrambling last minute to find a replacement.
