CarMax

First time I've bought a car with Carmax. The staff at Carmax Clackamas was excellent and extremely accommodating! There were a couple of hoops I had to jump through in order to purchase the vehicle, and the staff was willing to work with me. They walked me through the process patiently. I would buy a vehicle from them again in a second.

Easy and seamless. Made an appointment, arrived early checked in and waited for the process to take place. I had all the necessary documents and had provided an accurate description of my vehicle. Following the Carmax inspection I was told they'd honor their original online offer to which I agreed. Waited for paperwork to be processed then signed and was given a bank voucher. Entire process took about an hour and a half. Lots of sitting around waiting and I was the first and only customer but it was a hassle free experience.

So to make a very long story short. Went to CarMax to sell my 2016 Chevrolet Midnight Edition Colorado that had only 43,650 miles excellent condition also very maintained truck. Got the price that was quoted on line. Then it happen it took like 2 hours to get the process completed. The only thing CarMax needs to speed up the process

Great experience from start to finish. The app is easy to use and let me find the perfect car for my budget. Friendly professional staff helped me with all the paperwork and got me on the road in my new-to-me car quickly. I’ve always dreaded car shopping but not anymore. Thanks CarMax!

People were very nice and accommodating. It didn't take long, and best of all, I got the exact amount that was quoted on line. I checked to see where you would get the best deal selling a used vehicle and Carmax was suggested. They have such a big inventory to also buy used cars/trucks so I would consider that in the future. The suggestion was right and I'm glad I went there instead of a car dealer. I got a more than fair amount for my truck. Thank you CARMAX.

They were great! Very patient with us. I was extremely hesitant on buying a vehicle the same day. Didn't want to get pushed to buy anything. They're we're so accommodating and polite. We end up buying a car that day. They made sure to fill the tank and wash it for us. I'd buy from them again!

This is my second time purchasing a car through CarMax with good experiences. Mark R. gave some good insight on how to save a little bit of money i.e. keep license plates from old car, and Tyler L. was very helpful in expediting the purchasing process. When we needed to addend some things in the contract, Tyler was very patient and helped us get what we needed. Would have given 5 stars but this car was not as clean as I would have expected several smudges on the upholstery and doors.

The overall experience was easy and my salesperson was very nice and even came in on his day off to help me purchase my vehicle. That says a lot because they don’t work on commission and he could have had another associate help me. I did originally get the MaxCare and decided to cancel it 3 days after my purchase. I had to communicate through my salesperson so there was a lot of back and forth between him, me, and the manager. If I wouldn’t have kept on top of it I have a feeling it would not have been canceled. Finally 2 weeks later I received an email to cancel. I am still waiting for a confirmation that it was done and reaching out, again, to request confirmation. If it weren’t for that I would have given 5 stars. I feel overall satisfied and will definitely use Car Max in the future.

Bought my Wife’s vehicle here last year. They shipped it in from original location and had it available for us remarkably quick. Customer service and overall process were on point without being that standard level of creep that too many car dealerships offer in abundance. Will definitely shop via CarMax in the future and when next needed.

We started the process of selling our car online. Once we arrived at CarMax we signed in and we seen immediately. It took just over an hour from the time we arrived until we left with our check. Very easy process.
