Carmichael's Bookstore

I love this bookstore and have since I was a kid. I've found many treasures on the shelves and have met quite a few personal heroes thanks to their events. Most recently was meeting Democratic Candidate for Senate Charles Booker, and getting his novel signed. I value every memory made here.

Always amazing. They have a great selection and can order just about any book you want. They have some stationary, calendars, and puzzles as well. They also have books by local authors. Folks working there are always helpful and interesting. Definitely better than Amazon!

When you want a "real" bookstore, this would be my suggestion. It just has that "feel," you know? The selection is vast and the clerks are very helpful if you're looking for something special. The little touches -- like the cards and tchotchkes and gifts -- are unique.

Carmichael's, more than just a book store. You guys should market that. You're much h more than just a bookstore. Let people know. Today was my first visit & I made purchases & none of them were books. Great ideas for gifts for children.

Every time I think I need Amazon or a big book store, Carmichael's is always there to remind me that I don't. The selection is fantastic, & the customer service is top notch. The t-shirts are so soft & comfortable, & they have funny quotes on the back! Thanks for all you guys do!

Where I pick up my history books and other fun stuff like pins and cute socks. Saw local authour David Domine read there.

My first visit to this bookstore. So very glad to see real bookstores still in business! Wide selection of literature-related products/gifts as well as books. I'll be back!
