Carnival Dream

This was my first cruise, and it was everything I could have expected.. I had such an amazing time on The Valor our of New Orleans. The charm bracelet I got for practically nothing in the jewelry shop was an incredible keepsake. Make sure to see Danny in the Casino if you need any insider info.. we learned a lot from him about getting off the boat in Mexico, what to buy and where to buy it.. I highly recommend the balcony room.. watching the sun set and sunrise over the ocean from my bed is something I will never forget.

It's nice because it's not huge and overwhelming like others. Easy in and easy out. This was the easiest experience I've had. Look up the different ship categories and classes you'll learn lots plus have a general understanding.

The ship has seen better days. Carnival Valor is in need of some much needed maintenance and repairs to a lot of the high traffic areas. Items like windows and glass if cleaned would go a long way. All that being said the staff and crew on board were fantastic and friendly. The culinary team shined and made every meal an experience. We participated in the chefs table tasting which was one of the best ways to get to experience a meal and a show on board.

My first cruise ever was amazing on carnival! An endless wonderment of food and excitement entertainment and more! You must go on a cruise at least once in your lifetime. Definitely worth the money. Truly one of the best moments of my life. The place was amazingly clean. Food was exquisitely good. The service was absolutely amazing. They treat you like a king or a queen the whole time. Always a smile on their face. They truly serve the guests and treat everyone with respect and dignity.

A really fun cruise line especially when leaving out of New Orleans. Carnival does a great job boarding and disembarking the thousands of passengers. The four day cruise to Cozumel is my favorite. Very convenient, a lot of fun and just to right length.

Nice experience on the Carnival Valor but the ship could use some updating. I’m surprised that older ships like this, without many amenities to offer, can compete with the newer ships that have recently come onto the market. The staff was friendly but they didn’t go above and beyond. In the dining areas, tables remained dirty for a while before getting cleaned and ready for the next guests to use. The food was just mediocre but not the worst. At the pools, the staff just kinda stood around. Every now and then one might come around to see if you wanted a drink but that wasn’t the norm. Again, not bad service but they definitely didn’t go out of their way to make your cruise enjoyable. I’m not a huge cruise fan, but wanted to take my 10 year old son. He enjoyed it but I think if we were to go again, we would go with a different company.

Great cruise lots of activities and excursions too. Staff was great. Austin was our cruise director. Trivia was fun. Food was good few times it was great. Burgers from guys were very good steak house can cook it right. We did have some sickness in our group. The staff was helpful.

Can't say enough. Carnival Valor was Supreme excellence.

We cruised on the Carnival Valor. The ship was clean. The cabin Stewart got to know our names and was very friendly. You have to make reservations each night for dinner. Therefore you have to make sure to download the carnival hub. There was plenty of entertainment each day. We enjoyed eating breakfast in the Washington dining room. They even had brunch once. It was a great cruise. Embarkation and disembarking went smoothly.

Was are first time. So this is a happy first experience. The 125 for all week covered N security parking was worth it. Easy to find an navigate.
