The Mojito was decent but the Big Country its a sample of cold food. Do not recommend
some very kind and hardworking folks here who don't deserve the bad rap they get! this is the only place in the airport i know i can get a meal for under $30 and won't be loud, nor will i feel like anyone is pushing me out to get more tables. they get that they are a restaurant close to terminals and are a place for people to sit during layovers. the bartender makes sure that the guests at the bar and tended to, and the waitresses that were on the clock while i was in all helped each other out covering tables. genuinely the only downside is a lack of outlets at booth tables but that's personal for me, lol and no pricing on the drink menu.
They seated me and 20 min after I ordered, they kicked me out because they were closing. I hadn’t even finished my drink, so they gave me a “to go” cup to take it into airport- is that even legal…?? I totally support letting your crew go home on time, but some communication at the time of order or even just a sign with posted hours would really help passengers plan their experience and know if it even makes sense to sit down and order to begin with.
I don't normally rate airport places, and maybe I came here on a bad day, but this place is lame. Their billing promises local beers including a huge sign for authentic altbier Copper. They have 6 taps. All 3 local taps are out, including Copper. What serious beer place doesn't have a keg in the hold to swap out? Other than Yard House? You can get Stella or Bud Light though. Yawn. First can option I resorted to, out. Out of chicken wings and "maybe other stuff." Not impressed. On the bright side, the bartender did seem to know a little about beer and they did have a few local cans in stock. I probably had the last one.
This is the best little bar in the airport! After being disappointed with other restaurants due to not being cared about we stopped here and when we sat down we were greeted and drinks brought to us right away! The food took a little longer but we had a 3 hr layover so it killed time! The drinks are delicious and so is the food!
Picked up a list of beers at the bar and as there was no prices on the list, I asked the bartender how much the beer costs to which he replied 10$ a beer. Beer was good but they didn't have my initial choice, in fact they only had a few of the many beers on the list on tap. Was charged in the end 24$ for two beers! Staff very unfriendly.
Decent place, not too bad, not too good.
The staff was friendly and beer was good, so can’t give it one star. But service overall was slow and disorganized. The food was barely edible. The bun on the chicken sandwich was over baked to the point it was closer to a hockey puck than bread. I’m a bit nauseous from it as I write this. Recommend grabbing a bagel sandwich from next door and sitting down for just the beer
Saw this place last time I was leaving in terminal D and the menu looked good, so I decided to try it out this time.i came by. Boy was that a mistake. Service was slow to even take my order and once it arrived I never saw the server again until it was time to pay the check, I wished she would have stopped by at least once in even ask me if I needed anything else when she dropped off my food because I did. I ordered the chili and spinach artichoke dip. Both items came in styrofoam bowls with the chili missing the onions I ask for and the artichoke dip was barely warm and itself and the chips it came with were flavorless. Don't get me started on the quantity versus price because the chili bowl did not have 7 dollars worth of product in it and the artichoke dip was absolutely not worth 11 dollars. Basically I should of went anywhere else in the airport than this place because I have eaten at most of the places and was never this dissatisfied.
I came into the restaurant today to get a bit to eat. After 10+ min I walked out. About 30-45 min later I came back. Again 10+ min and no beverage or food ordered. For 2 waitresses and a bartender it doesn't seem that busy. At the 13 min mark of sitting in almost the center of the restaurant a waitress finally came and asked if I was ready to order. While I was sitting here, both times, I saw 8 or 9 people come in, sit, wait, and leave. For a place to be stationed in an airport where most people don't have too much time to wait to be helped this was uncalled for..... If training needs to be done then do it. If you need to fire the one that seemed lost, do it. If you need to hire more then do it. Food looks good and taste decent. Nothing to write home to Mom about.
