The truth about Carolina cargo! I worked here for about 5 months total. I was fresh out of trucking school with a felony. Most companies would not touch me. Carolina Cargo gave me a chance. They placed me in a fairly new truck with a trainer who was a non smoker like me. There was plenty of miles to drive. The pay was only 10cents a mile at first. Extremely low, yes! However, you get a fuel bonus on top of that. I'd say realistic pay averages to approximately $600 to $850 every 10days with small increases in pay the longer you work for them. The experience a driver gets at Carolina cargo is priceless. I NOW work for a company that pays extremely well. However; non of this would have been possible if it were not for the opportunity Carolina cargo gave me. To be honest it wasn't always the most ideal situation while working but in truth what job ever is? Overall, there was a job to do and it took everyone in the company; drivers, dispatchers, mechanics, safety, and management, to get it done. You get out of anything in life what you put into it. In the end I am grateful for the opportunities Carolina cargo provided for me. I am happy with my current job and again it was all possible because Carolina cargo gave this guy a chance when no one else would. Thank you Carolina cargo for providing me the opportunity to work in the trucking business... Forever grateful!!!

Less than 300.00 a week pay check u have to turn in 5000 miles to get a pay check in 2 weeks time u might bring home 500.00 to 600.00 dollars not a good company to drive for
