Support staff were personable and got things going quickly for me, a patient returning after 5 years for a colonoscopy screen. Dr. Patel is new to staff, and I found him to be personable and thorough. Most importantly, it was clear that he was truly listening to me as I addressed my own individual concerns and questions.
I was very pleased with his knowledge and understanding of my condition. He also had a very quick response to how it needs to be treated. I feel like he is truly compassionate about his patients.
Dr. Patel is a fine Doctor with a very caring attitude. I feel very comfortable with the entire staff at the Belmont office where I go. I was a patient for over 20 years of Dr. Purdum, and hated to see him go. He is an excellent Doctor who treated his patients with respect and great concern. Enjoy retirement my friend.
I made an appointment with Carolina Digestive three times. The first appointment I took PTO for, I scheduled 2 months in advanced and I got canceled on the day before. They rescheduled a second appointment, which I also took PTO for. I showed up to the second appointment but no one mentioned it was at a completely different location, so there was no way I could be there in 15 minutes during 8am traffic. When I showed up to the second appointment, I called their office and got hung up on the first time not sure what happened and then finally made a third appointment for tomorrow. Having zero hopes on this third appointment. I should’ve called a different doctors office entirely.
Let me start out first by saying my doctor is great!! NOW, when It has been coming to getting my medication together and having them give me a different medication they have been giving me the run around! It’s been 2 days I have been calling Rebecca Hancock she has NOT returned any of my voicemails, the office hasn’t returned and of my calls, I even had to go back up there to the office and I live in Kings Mountain, so that’s gas!! This is ridiculous they are horrible when it comes to my medication! CVS and my insurance have even been trying to get in contact with them, they even faxed them a list of several other medications and NOTHING! What is the point of working there if you’re not going to do your job! I even contacted the office manager and I haven’t heard anything!
You cannot get any follow-up or response after testing. If you leave many messages you will not get a return call. It is a shame that they cannot do follow-up on calls or questions. I have experienced that with myself and my mother.
Dr. Patel is very professional and very informative. Given insight to meaning and allowing for feedback. I’m extremely happy with him and office staff.
After receiving a message that my appointment had been canceled and that I need to call and reschedule, I called this morning to do just that. After holding for approximately 10 minutes I selected the call back option so that they would be able to call me back at their convenience. Let's just say it's almost 7 p.m. and I still haven't had my return call. 7 hrs is not enough time for them to return the call I suspect.
I had to call the office because I could not find the correct building. They gave me directions and told me to take my time and be safe. When I entered the office, the ladies at the front were friendly and polite. They truly set the mood for the visit. The doctor listened to all my concerns and answered them factually but not in terms over my head. My care has to be coordinated with another doctor due to my gastroparesis and it wasn’t a problem. I would highly recommend them.
Dr Jimoh is a caring professional who works to keep patients healthy! I appreciate the time and energy he puts into working with me!
